Cannondale27, I totally agree. Last year at the Manitoba TY ride there was an older (okay older than me and I am over 50) genleman from the area with an Apex that just looked like any other sled. We were headed out on the river where the track is 4 groomers wide both ways and I was doing a tick over 100mph and feeling pretty good. I look over my shoulder to the right and this guy goes by me way off the groomed trail with his ski's 16" in the air like I was standing still. Turns out he has an MCX kit and the weekend before he hit mid 130's on radar at an organized event. He says with race fuel he can get 390HP. Point is there is always someone faster, someone bigger or stronger. This thing looked totally normal until you looked closely and saw the intercooler.
I think that the sidewinder will be far and away the fastest STOCK sled out there. Once you start modding, all bets are off.
