I wonder if this is related to not having proper chain tension. I had to tighten my chain several times last season. They definitely stretch with this power and if you have traction.

All chains stretch, not all tensioners spit bolts out. Sounds like normal Arctic Crap issues

Did there winders checked all and were tight and all were 1 turn out from first service on all 3 sleds. First sled 3000k second sled 4400k. Third sled 5200k all were good. All3 sleds stock tune. This year all hurricane tunes CAI and trail muffler.
Crap I forgot to look at mine closely....I think its ok though in my pic.

Just added new top gear and checked this screw.
Was loose and 1 1/2 turns out. 1276 miles on sled.
Was just wiggling adjuster and the rear bolt fell right on the floor. The hole where it was is egged out a little and stripped

Just wait and see, this is going to be a major problem for Yamaha. I bet all will have this problem, and just a mather of time before the chaincase go boooom.
And its not just one screw, its one on both sides.

This winter riding would have been ruined probably first ride for sure. Then to the dealer and all the bullsheet !
I'm going to just put a tiny spot weld on the screws once I get the new parts.

My sled it ready to roll for the year, but now this has me very nervous...to roll the dice or to tear everything to shreds for piece of mind...
Important question. Has anyone who removed those bolts for roller while still tight from factory seen Loctite on them?
I will do mine this weekend but its important to know since anything other than just using a very light touch will disturb the Loctite. I will completely remove them clean well and use Devils Blood 272 Loctite with primer then I will scratch a line and paint mark.

Can we get an inspection camera probe in there with the reverse actuator off?
It would be some maneuvering but possible. Remember I have 13000mi on mine and its never been touched so this is probably a Factory screw up that most wont have I would think. Can we get an inspection camera probe in there with the reverse actuator off?
When they come loose is it even possible for them to actually fall out? Do they hit the case first?
I was wondering this also. When they come loose is it even possible for them to actually fall out? Do they hit the case first?
Maybe the guys with this issue can post the build(VIN) No.
Maybe they ran out of Loktite for a couple days! LOL

Remember the Nytros and the bolt that held gear on? Would back out and hit cover. Bet many are running around like that and dont even know it. Not a good thing either way though.I was wondering this also.
