That was our consensus , on the logs boost did not build as quick wasn’t by much but was measurable.

You have dealt with a 2nd (or maybe 1st?) source of excess heat in the tuned 998. The stock cooling system is engineered for stock HP output plus some safety factor. Once one increases HP output by 25-50%, it can no longer shed enough of the added thermal load and the coolant temp starts to climb. I mean at big throttle openings. No matter how much IC one has, coolant temps will still climb, at some point getting to unsafe levels that greatly promote deto and engine damage. The head will overheat. Watch your coolant temps during a WOT episode. That definitely is a challenge with the rad kit. The stock fuse block wiring harness does not allow a lot of wiggle room and space is very limited to locate the fuse box. Mine is turned sideways and mounted along side of the rad which is a compromise for sure. If I ever get motivated enough I may build an extended wiring harness and completely relocate the fuse box.

Ask me how I know what happens.

Makes sense having to push air through a second cooler. That was our consensus , on the logs boost did not build as quick wasn’t by much but was measurable.

Doesn’t matter when the front of the sled is covered in ice and snow! Lol
I have one on my own because I had one from tomcat collecting dust in the corner. We knew a long time ago air didn’t flow well through them either so we tried to open holes in plate behind cooler which is a pic of my old that on his page with the frog skin over the four holes. I would think it would be more beneficial on trail than race as you would be heat soaking sled more like we ride than if you sit and drag race then sit.
I agree with nyturbo on his assessment
Z1 turbo had best factory set up to add bigger cooler for gains

He's a funny guy, him and I got along pretty good. Spent some time with him the other day.I tried to get him to make one for me a couple years ago.
He's on the fence to build headers. He was bobbin and weaving while we danced around the ring. Lol.
Bob..... Google Vinnyfab.
All I can say is the fit was 100% dead on.

No, trim work. It's what we like to call " plug & play"So does the plastic around that cooler need to be modified? Seems like all the other options do except the PEFI one
It can be swapped out in less than an hour, providing you don't drop a bumper bolt down into the bumper. My bad.
He had enough material to build two, maybe three more, from what I saw.
So, you can have it by Jan. (That's up to him, not me)

Looks familiar! Kyle is a really good guy. I have one of his 3" mufflers too, one of the quietest 3" mufflers made. Installed my fair share of his 3" exhausts and intercoolers.
