Low beam/hi beam mod

I had hid in my truck and switched with these new leds. It seems to work the same as the hid i had in the truck. The new leds are getting better, I'm trying them in my sled seems better than stock that's for sure and no heat.
I wonder if they headlight will build ice with no heat! Had a friend that drives truck and said that was a downfall of LEDs, taillights always snow covered.

I figured I would roll the dice and try them out for $54

I'm a tech by trade and as far as I can see that it draws less because they are led if using hid it would draw more
Yes, I understand the LEDs will draw less. I'm wondering about jumping the wires with the stock lights so both low and high beam are on when switched to high beam

With the stock lights I can't see it being a problem with both not a lot of draw

I broke the connector on the white wire, anyone have an idea where to get one or what they're even called?

I would watch running both filaments at once, those bulbs are not made to handle that extra heat! I have seen bulbs melt the glass and torch the reflector on atvs due to the high beam switch sticking on.

New LEDs looking good...

I ended up just ordering a hid kit. I wanted to change my bulbs to get the most light output and that will be the way. And they use about the same power as led once they are warmed up.

I ran my the other day for 2 hrs on hi and no issues, -2c and low speed drifting. Should be less heat when it's colder running at speed. I have the hi output silverstars I through in last year.

Put in my new LED lights from china (http://www.ebay.com/itm/282259992630) Ill put the link here so you can see what im talking about. Was just about to bridge the White and red Cable but decided to test the lights first.
To my surprise both LEDs fired up right away, both lights staying on. At half light only 1 diod on each side burned but at full light both diods fired up.

So my question is, do i need to bridge it anyway? Cant see any reason right now but im curious why both lights fire up right away.

I hope you guys understand what im trying to explain :)

From what I understand is on low beam one led lights up and on high beam two leds light up this is correct no need to bridge this is exactly what mine are doing

I can confirm on the LED kit. I put is xkglow kit. They are two sided. Low beam on one side high beam the other. When high beam is on both high and low beam are on. Rode this past weekend with no iceing issues.
