Per country cat and others... that optional is what's on our machines..
So its geometry change or spring mod... unless someone finds something else that matches up... but geometry makes it right imho instead of tricking and that delayed pre load might affect ride?

Only way any of us will know is to move it. Could be a bad thing and have to start all over on shock valving and springs. No use in talking about it anymore till its tried. Thanks Guys!
Just be careful all the way out. Those straps eventually stretch and if they stretch far enough the center shock will be ruined in time because shock will be limiter instead of straps.I'm not sure how much difference it will make, the stock ltx has one more hole available on the straps. The hole is on the arm side.
I'm going to try it all the way out with blocks removed

Yes, moving the rear sissor mount forward softens the rear suspension quite a bit. 1" is a big difference in transfer!

My research shows there is more to this than just moving the hole front on rail.
The 13 lxr has torsion springs but only the single relay rod below the resr shock. The relay rod is the same part number as relay rod used in the 129 skids which means the rear tunnel mount was not moved back.
In 14 the whole rear arm and shock assembly was moved rearward. The rear shock was no longer connected to the front pivot arm and rearward shift moved rear mount farther back in the tunnel. In addition they went with relay rods on both sides of the shock.

Different models Travis. 129" rear shock is still connected at front arm with link. 137" it is not. Just look at the angle of the rear scissor to the rail. It is very close to the same on 129 and 137 now. The angle was much less in 12-13. That is the geometry change. They unfolded the scissor. My research shows there is more to this than just moving the hole front on rail.

Isn’t the 13 lxr a 137 model?

So you have done this? Or seen it done. Any pics? It seems that there is a bump stop for the scissor too that must be moved. Curious to see Travis' idea too.Yes, moving the rear sissor mount forward softens the rear suspension quite a bit. 1" is a big difference in transfer!

Not on the sidewinder, but back in the early 90's, Cat had the rails drilled where you could go softer and stiffer on the sissors for this very reason. The front bump stop would either have to be moved or taken out.
Here is a generic pic I took off the web, looks like it's a 1000 T-cat. Its not rocket science.
No. They didnt have a 137 in 13.Isn’t the 13 lxr a 137 model?

It has been well documented that the 137 rides better than the 129 and I'm sure it's not all from the extra length. If one were to move the arm to gain transfer isn't it safe to say the ride may suffer? And the lxr is a 137 it was only available as such in 2017.

I say no...and in fact believe the ride will improve
