New 3 arm, trail version billet Accelerator Pro 4 primary clutch

Check this out!!!

Thunder Products Clutching is working with Pro 4 Performance on something we are excited to see!!!

The new trail version 3 arm billet clutch that will be available very soon!!! And yes, I said trail version :)

Watch the video to see how this clutch works for ease of changing weights ;)!

This is the prototype that we are testing with currently. The clutch has exceptional belt grab, smooth operation with hard-coated bushing pockets and proven cooler temperatures....a must for the turbo guys!

Can I run same ramps as my Yamaha clutch, and belts? What is the price a grand?

Lots of cash....I think over 1500 if I recall? But they are far superior to most the others out there. Id be all over a TAPP if I wanted the best.
Right now on HCS tom has them for $1,375 plus shipping.

Question for Terry on the Pro4.

I see the Pro4 allows for me to use my current Dalton weights, and it uses a TRA spring. My question is, does the price point you mentioned($1195us) include weights or is it empty?

thanks
Dan

The clutch is empty...but you receive pins and bushings for the weights.

Pins are .250 so the use your Dalton weights, you will have to contact Mark at Pro 4 Performance to get a special pin setup. He could knock that out immediately for you. Call Mark at 989 372 3956

I see this thread has been here awhile. Any real world results with these on the big HP flashed Winders?

Yes, they are out there getting miles on them.

Will report back when the owners get back to me with results.

Pro 4 Performance is looking at being a vendor on this site soon, so Mark will be able to give you more info.

Great to hear. It will be good to get more options out there for us.

Maybe these aftermarket clutch makers would even consider a group buy? I know the power of the group buy on a forum can be a great thing for everyone, we have done this often on the Vrod forums over the yrs.

I get the feeling with everyone tuning their winders, it will just be a matter of time before guys end up wanting a more reliable longterm primary.

Anybody with any reports on this clutch, winters coming to a end.

Interested as well. Wondering if it rattles less than the stock set up too. It sure would be nice to have some positive results posted by a few running the big tunes. Riding would be allot more enjoyable without having to peek in on the clutch at every stop to make sure it's not coming unglued!

On a side note, It's less worrisome riding with the extreme noise my clutch makes, it drowns out the non stock exhaust!

Terry has anyone put this clutch through the ringer trail riding with big 270+ tunes?

Yes, quite a few of them running over 270 and really liking the clutch....and more going out to members/customers.

1 member has a lot of miles on his already and will see if he chimes in.
