Had mine done this morning. Haven't had a cold start yet but did notice the RPM seems to be slower to return to idle. Almost seems like the engine drops to idle and the tach is slow to return to 1500. If it solves the other problems it doesn't really matter I guess.

Been out several times on mine since having it flashed and noticed the same thing.

-50 here today so I just had to go outside and see if the sleds would start. Two 16 vipers with the new flash both haven't been started in about a week and have been sitting outside. Both cranked over for about 7-10 seconds and fired right up. I was very surprised

Is your warm up RPM lower than before? My sled warm up rpm is much lower with the new flash in the 1500 range.
Have not took it for much of a ride yet

No noticeable change in RPM when cold or after warmup. It idles within Yamaha specifications but takes a little longer to drop back to idle RPM. I'm also not seeing any significant performance upgrade like some suggest. It might have picked up a little top end speed but trail conditions tend to dictate a sleds performance to the point that small improvements can often be difficult to actually feel or realize.

So urs still idle around 1800 RPM when cold?

The hot RPM is the same as before at 1500. Haven't had a chance to see cold RPM yet. Seems a bit smoother midrange but again might be the fact we have about 2" powder on the trails.

I never bothered checking the rpm during warm up. I guess I went more by sound and it sounded like it had a normal warm up idle rpm so it didn't concern me.
