There's a plug next to the reverse actuator harness that is used for installing the flash.
That's great cause I'm miles from a dealer and not having a trailer sucks so I'll ride the trails down to the dealer and he can flash it while I'm having lunch next door.awesome news

Now that we have another new flash should I disconnect my power command before getting it done ???

I would be thrilled if they have raised the rev limit a few hundred RPM, In my mind that's all it needs.

I agree, they seem to bump it up with every flash, the 16' flash usually show around 9350 on recall since mine always taps the limiter once or twice on a hard launch before settling to 8900. Another 100rpm would be nice.

Exactly, Just need to get past the over-rev at launch. I have no interest in running the engine beyond 8800-8900 rpm. I have the 16' flash now with no complaints other than rev limit.

sooooo funny I just started my sled in nice warm garage for the first time this year. Yes battery up to snuff. so the thing fires right off let it come up to 195 adjust track tension do a few other things run it on the stand a bit then shut it down. Finish a clutch change then go to start it back up like 20 minutes later. cranks , pops, and then nothing hold the key down crank crank crank doesn't fire...……. ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGG. was going to let it rest 10 minutes and try again but just gave up. this is what I want the new flash to fix just make the thing FREAKIN START . Incidentally the 05 carb Vector also in same garage, has old bad gas in it left over from last year and the thing fired right up perfect every time, so much for the advantage of fuel injection

Sad... Got a new to me viper this winter (LTX-LE)and want to give it a try.... has had the last flash confirmed by dealer (not this very latest) Ill try and get in in for this new flash... This is why the Apex I have ant going nowhere!

Called dealer this morning. Suprised they were open. Asked about flash and he looked it up. However was told they are t scheduled to receive it until 3rd week of Jan. Does that make sense? Assumed it was just a download

Called my dealer today and they said good to go. Bringing it in Thursday for the flash. They said they have it via computer download.

Something doesn’t sound right with your dealer. If flash is released it should be available to all dealers now.

Following this curiously. My local dealer did one the day they came out. He said it seemed to start a little better and idle smoother. But that was siting in a warm shop after being run already so it's not a great test. Mine usually starts pretty good. More I ride it I learn more. Occasionally I have to crank it a bit longer. It surges at idle a little. Would be nice if it would start like my nytro all the time that's for sure. I'm hopping I don't run into problems when it gets cold out.
