Not ride-able (unless you have 8" carbides and 144+ picks) on my end of the Range, no dirt showing through but basically riding on glare ice with an 1" of snow on top. People are still riding, but not me! I'd definitely have to put the Duponts on!
Another crappy winter
Nice Bday present for both of us Dan, don't you think ?
Hope you enjoyed the vacation...

Happy B-day to you as well Niko. Not sure if it was yesterday or tomorrow. Yeah, this winter sucks! Oh well, at least maybe we can make one of the Michigan rides now.

Happy Birthday Nick & Dan!! Too bad I couldn't order up a decent winter for you guys. I probably can do a ride in the middle of February if the weather improves.
thegrizzly1 said:If there is interest I can plan on rescheduling the weekend of Feb 15th & 16th pending snow conditions. Please note, this is also the same weekend as the official TY Ontario ride.
PLEASE NOTE........The Manitoba TY Ride is on FEB 14th & 15th.........WE GOT SNOW

Thanks Bounty. I'd love to make the Manitoba ride, but I'm thinking it's going to be quite a haul for me to trailer there. Out of curiousity, what would be out of province/country tags required cost for us southerners?
I'm really trying to avoid other TY rides and I have certain commitments of my own. If I have semi local interest, I'll gladly host another ride if we have the snow. I just hate to cancel two years in a row.

Did you want it Tentative Rescheduled?

Everyone, as much as I hate to do it, this ride is cancelled outright. I was hoping to plan a tentative reschedule date, but it just isn't working out. If anyone has a real urge to try and ride in Northern Mn. and we have the snow for it, send me a PM. If schedules work out, I would always host/guide any TY members interested. Thanks and let's hope for better luck next year.

Bounty, I am unfamiliar with rules in your Province. What is the voucher you mentioned, and is it required? For anyone out of country, would a Passport, Snow Pass, and proof of insurance cover the basic requirements for us?
I tried to read through the whole thread last night but it got real late and I probably missed something. I know it is officially a Thursday/Friday thing. Is there anyone who would be sticking around or willing to ride Saturday as well? If I or others decide to make that drive, I'd want to make it worth the trip and get in as much riding as possible. Thanks.

The Voucher is basicly a credit for a snow pass as people buy them as gifts for others, because you need a little info from your registration to complete the snow pass.
Yes the passports get you across the border, I belive you might be able to get your sno pass on line direct as snow man handed that over to MPI [manitoba provincail insurance] so ANY insurance outlet would have them. Pretty much a standard process for you guys anyway and nothing else i can think of off the top of my head that would hold you back. OH IM SURE there will be some that want too KEEP ON RIDING, we will see more info on that thread as we get closer to Feb 14th
Sorry to hear you had to Cancel your ride

No the Passports get them back into the US! No passport you can't enter the US! Reminds me mine is coming due! Damn I liked it better before 9/11!
In Beausejour Graves Insurance 415 Park Ave, R0E 0C0 204-268-2476 FAx 204-268-2996 This is who I deal with to get mine through email. You can Fax or scan the documents they send you after you fill them out.
Hub International Horizon Insurance LP 30 McArthur Pl, R0E 1A0 204-345-8607 Fax 204-345-6048 Same applys for these guys.
I'd phone them and see if you can do this through email from out of country but I think so. Also if your going to pick up passes from them direct when you show up find out their hours. You may want to show up the day before and pick up passes.
