Everyone, the weather has not cooperated very well this week, but the forecast is for a cool down today and possibly snow tomorrow. Despite trail conditions we will go ahead with this ride.
For everyone planning on attending, I'd like to have a roll call by 4:00PM this afternoon. I do not have internet access at home and will not be able to check the website after I leave work.
For anyone on the fence or just has questions, please call my cell:

I will plan on meeting Nick, Andy, and it sounds like a couple of others at Bimbo's parking lot tomorrow morning at 9:00am. If anyone was planning on riding Friday and doesn't know where that is, look at previous posts in this thread or call me. I am thinking Friday will be an unofficial TY ride.
However; Saturday we will meet in front of the Chisholm Inn and Suites at 9:00am. Please be sure to sign the TY waiver and send it to Mr. Sled. I will collect them Saturday morning for those of you who didn't get them to Mr. Sled already. These waivers are very important and signing them is not optional!
Sleddingfarmer, I was thinking of running the official TY ride up in the Bigfork/Effie area as those trails generally see a lot less traffic than major trails such as the Taconite or Arrowhead. There are also less road crossings and decent portions of that area are sheltered by tree cover. I may have a chance Friday to scout out the trails up in that direction. I think if you head that direction you will be ok.
We will make a decision where to go Saturday morning based on how many riders we have, and trail conditions. I plan on mustering at 9:00am and leaving by 9:30AM. I will take names for whoever answers roll call (by 4:00pm today), but if you're not on the list and I haven't heard from you, we're assuming no more riders are participating and we will be departing.
Also, for anyone out of state, there is only one ELS agent in Chisholm and it is the Lucky 7 Convenience store on the North end of town on Hwy. 73. There is no easy way to get there on sled with the roads as melted as they are. Please pick up your trail permits while trailering up as we may not be going by any permit vendors as we did last year. I believe it is still $17 for a one year permit, and I have heard reports of "Officials" check for registration and permits up in the areas I anticipate we may be riding.
My cell # is listed above. Please call if you have any questions or concerns. I hope to meet some more members this year. Let’s make this a safe and fun ride. See you tomorrow/Saturday!
