Gusset kit is a no brainer. A C-clamp works very well to install bushings as well

got the a arms and skis back on and I could not be happier with the turn out. the spindles are at the same angle for the first time since I bought the sled. Very tight also. Can't wait to test this bad boy.

Hi!
Can somebody tell me outer diameters for -09 Nytro Oilite bushings, both lower and upper a-arms?
Planning to use them in a a-arm project, just need to know the diameters to be able to pick right tube dimensions.
Thanks!

Something you mite want to try to make the bushings fit better is hone the A frame holes with a automotive brake wheel cylinder hone, I've done this on similar projects with success. I would think you could get it to a slight interference fit this way with out having to press them in hard. I'm thinkin if you have to press them in hard you're going to decrease the inside diameter a little and the suspension will be pretty tight until it gets broke in. Just a thought.

If you had of asked me on Saturday I gladly could have mic'ed them for you. Too late!
I guess I could mic one of my old plastic ones if you think this will help, but it definitely will not be as accurate as the tube. LMK.

Thanks for your offer, I think measuring the originals will help me out here!
Somebody told me that in -09 Nytro lower and upper arms do have the same diameter, which ought to be .9070". My sled is -08 so I cannot verify that myself, since in -08 Nytro the bushings aren't of the same diameter.
So, if they do match, I'll go ahead and use -09 bushings in my project. In -08 model the upper bushing is so tiny that gets broken very easily...
Thanks!

You are correct. All 12 bushings are identical.
I quickly measured some and they came it at 0.910 +- 0.002 throughout the batch so your good. (they are likely 23mm bushings from igus)
