this is what my thoughts are too....I just am having a hard time swallowing the cost of the LE, even though the top line shocks are the best and well worth it. I do like some of these prices im seeing kicked around on the SE much better. This has and is a big question for myself.. The backs have HPG shocks. I was told they are a knock off of a fox shock. NOT the HPG that was on ski doo or yamaha in past.. At least that is what i have learned so far...
I had to have the black and orange which only comes in the SE package.. I do not ride super aggressive - so I figure I run the stock set up(rear shocks) on the SE and if it blows I upgrade after the first year..Not to worried about the front shocks on the SE.. 13300 is what I was quoted. Thats a great price on this sled IMO.. Alot of BANG for your buck (4 stroke turbo)
are the rear shocks not even made by FOX then? I know i HATED the ride on my 12 cat turbo, it was a snowpro and that along with the hard seat made for the worst sled id ever felt in back. And it had the floats in front.
Im hearing the 16 cats with qs3 are great, and seat is better....just hard to decide here without riding one.
That is a great price you got on SE, what dealer? State?

Like most things in life you get what you paid for. I'm getting the better shocks my friend has them on his new 16 cat and can't believe how much better the ride is.

getting the qs3's on all four positions makes it worth the price of admission (not to mention the other perks you get) ...and a 137 is mandatory...

Not sure where the HPG shicks are made. How bad can the SE be?? Not alot of guys ordering them, at least as far as I have been reading.. You CAN NOT get the black and orange in any other model accept SE.. SO SE it is! . That price was in WI. TA mototsports.. That was without accessory cash and a 3 year warrantythis is what my thoughts are too....I just am having a hard time swallowing the cost of the LE, even though the top line shocks are the best and well worth it. yes it is SJ only price diff, between the SE and LE are 1300 dollar shocks, and if you had to buy them by them selfs,I am sure they would cost 2 grand.getting the qs3's on all four positions makes it worth the price of admission (not to mention the other perks you get) ...and a 137 is mandatory...

likely more then 2k! I know I just bought new Fronts for my 1200, Fox RC2 Kashima coat(their top shock) and they retail for 1595 a pair. Now add in the center and rear shock, and likely closer to 2600-2900 total for all 4 shocks.yes it is SJ only price diff, between the SE and LE are 1300 dollar shocks, and if you had to buy them by them selfs,I am sure they would cost 2 grand.
So yes, the pricing is VERY GOOD for what you are getting....I find myself becoming more frugal these days, and trying not to buy on impulse, LOL . I guess that is what happens when you get older and start to weigh out these costs of sleds VS how many miles I got on this crummy season.

I was told today 8JP length but it will be a new belt because of the different sheave angle. Until I get a parts diagram I can't confirm
