What r your thoughts on the new 5.7s off the 850s?
Are you referring to the new TS Pilot Ski. The quick adjust. If so I do not think it is possible. It would take a lot of Machine work of the spindle and QA adjuster just to possibly make work. (to bad as these do work awsome on the new Ski-Doo's.).
If you are referring to the Std 5.7 pilots. I believe these would decrease steering effort a bunch over stock tuners. but the 6.9's have much better flotation and handling in softer trails with the same cornering as the 5.7s on hard pack.

Put this in FAQ. Excellent writeup Rockerdan Thank You.

I liked 5.7 pilots better than procross skis on my old sled...and I liked the procross skis better than tuners...so they may not be perfect...but they have to be better than tuners. Plus did I mention they are orange lol

5.7s will work really well too.....far far lighter effort then tuners...loved 5.7s on my procross cat.
the 6.9 is just a wider version of the 5.7 that works better in deep for flotation....
many cheap used deals out there on dootalk on 5.7s so easy to test them out.

Slapped on the stock low window and gained some MPH on the gun today on my lake....man it looks so good.
6.9s are right at home on the SW.

These are only 5.7's I bought them for what I think was a great price on the weekend. Although they will never float as good as the 6.9's I am sure they will be an improvement over the Tuner III on the trail, and I like the look.

50 miles of tighter bush trail yesterday, temp was 0c (32f) snow was wet and heavy. 6.9's corner like they are on rails. Easy steering. Love this sled now.
