Any harm in removing the shaft? I have the blocks out but find it still doesn't transfer the best.

It depends what you weight really I weight 220 dressed had mine removed and completely tore my 4th wheel kit center wheels apart and bent the steel shaft that hits when there's no blocks to stop it. I now have my shaft and blocks in but want to try the racewerx

I'm 220 dressed I wouldn't do it unless u are very light

I have the blocks out, but left rod installed. I honestly wouldn't want it to transfer any more than it does now. Lifts the skis 4"-6" at will, and will loft the front end on any small grade on the trail.

AGREE 100%

Do you guys notice the metal on metal contact with the blocks removed? It would be nice to find something to put on the shaft that is very thin and that will actually stick on there.
