It's been an longtime project, but it's foolish to cut corners!
I am very impressed with your craftmanship, i doubt anyone could have done it better, and you have done it in your spare time!!!
But somehow i knew you could do it!
Hope i will see it live in the future!

Thank you guys, TY is my source of inspiration
With 2 kids 5 and 7 yo and a wife to take care of my spare time have been limited at times. Luckily wifey is very understanding, without her GO and YES on my project I wouldn't have been able to finish my project, or even getting started for that matter.
I didn't have any design plans prior to this project, planning were done as the project went forward and a lot of things had to change every time the project changed direction.
I would like to send a BIG THANK YOU to;
- all site members for the feedback I've got
- to Kevin Emino aka Need for Speed 2 for the parts he have supplied, and for explaining to me why I should not go forward with the Mitsubishi 16T turbo, and for manufacturing my header and downpipe
- Dave and Darren @ Powder Lites for turbo and all parts needed to finish the turbo install
- my good friend Mikkel
- my good friend Odd Steffen (he's working on his sled in rxrider's Turbo Garage on a similar project)
- and many others not mentioned but not forgotten
Thank you Matt - Skydog - for all your input over the years
Tomorrow I will work on syncronizing of the carburetors.

UPDATE February 16. - Syncronizing carburetors. Grinding off tank covling to fit over the turbo heat shield. Insulating tank covling and hood using heat reflective tape.
Before the syncing the carbs I plugged my Morgan Carb Tune Pro to all intake boots, started the engine and adjusted idle rpms high enough so the sled would run without having to give it throttle. I started by adjusting carb 2 and 3, then I had to adjust up idle once more as the rpms dropped. Went on by adjusting carb 3 and 4, rpms dropped again, adjusted up idle rpms. Adjusted 2 and 1. After each adjustment I throttled the sled up 3-4 times and checked vacuum levels. With all 4 adjusted I throttled the sled up 3-4 times more and the vacuum level was the same across all 4 carbs. Done.
No pics taken as the procedure has been covered in an earlier post.
I unhooked the carb tune tool and installed the vacuum lines to the intake boots.
I had to grind off more plastic from the tank covling to prevent if from touching the turbo heat shield. The part marked with a black marker had to be ground away.
Grinding done, now it fits perfectly without touching the turbo heat shield.
Added heat reflective tape to the tank covling.
Added heat reflective tape to the hood.
Done, my sled is finally ready to ride.
I need to install one more small screw to the windscreen and the build is done. Test and tune remains. First testride will be...... LOL I don't know really, soon I guess. Snow level is at a all time low and we're in the middle of the cold period, won't snow when it's cold :-( By the end of the month it should start snowing again, I hope.

Will do, have to go thru test and tune procedures first LOL - It's a carbed sled and I have no clue what kind of main jets she wants with this setup, my guess is I have a to up the main jets.
I wanna go testriding so bad.....right now....bummer it's in the middle of the night and the sled is not a quiet one hahaha

I guess your about correct on that one Matt. I have the same jets in there as with the MCX kit installed. Will give it a warm up and a brief WOT to see where the AFR's goes. I have a set of 140s I may try, but I guess I'll have order a set of 142.5s and 145s as well.

UPDATE February 17. - Installing the last screw holding the windscreen in place.
Drilled a small hole and tightened down the windscreen with a small screw, the build is officially finished.
I'm done. Time to ride, test and tune.
the competition
While my friend is away at work I'm helping him out by working on his sled insulating the plastics near the turbo. I have added heat reflective tape to the inside of the plastic pieces where they sit close to the turbo and down pipe when installed.
Here's a few pics.
The tank covling.
The piece that goes in front of the steering post.

HEEEEEY BUD!!!! Really glad to se the sled is finished, FINALLY...have you been out with it yet?
I just put my sled in the garage ready for the supercharge install, as the Nytro is now running, ad blowing people away...LOL
Get your sled tuned in properly, so we can have a tune ride together and just focuse on mine, ASAP...LOL...
The sled turned out to a BEAST if you ask me...I really like the air filter sticking out of the hood....I can't wait to see how fast it is....
Bull

Not much.... have no time to spare these days grrrrrrrrrrrr - I wanna ride. I have ridden it for a few kilometers on the lake. Boost runing on wastegate only was 12 lbs. AFRs WOT was 11.9-12.1 running 132.5 main jets. The Malpassi fuel pressure regulator must be high in pressure, might have to check into it and measure the fuel pressure.
I know I can run it at WG boost level without a problem, but I gotta ride a lot more to check out all aspects of the tune.
MAN SHE HAS SOME SERIOUS THROTTLE RESPONSE VS THE MCX I USED TO RUN !!!!!!!

UPDATE February 20. - Running the engine to check for leaks and listen to the awesome sound it has Adding more heat shielding materials to the tank covling and turbo heat shields.
She's alive and running.
The guy in the drivers seat seems to be a happy camper LOL it's me hahaha
Here's a vid of the sled running.

When running the sled in my garage I found that the tank covling got very hot and so did the heat shields above the turbo. I added some more heat reflective tape to the tank covling and added a heat insulation fabric to the turbo heat shield.

UPDATE February 22. - First ride. Checking boost and AFR levels. WOW it has some throttle response now
I took the sled out to lake Gagga for the first test ride. It was a very short ride across the lake and back to the cabin again. I had it WOT only long enough to check boost and AFR levels. Boost went 12 lbs and AFR were high 11s to low 12s at WOT. Man the sled has some pull now, pull the trigger and the skis leave the ground immediately, what turbo lag???? not in this configuration, hahaha I love the outcome of this project, can't wait to ride some more asap.

LOL I love it when a plan comes together, Are you happy with the response Jan-Ove, primary tube length is where its at for crazy throttle response, wait till you feel how long her legs are, she will not want to stop climbing Glad to hear you are happy
