I clamp to the chassis & put the dial indicator on the caliper to check for runout. You will see even the slightest bit of runout this way if the bearing is crooked on the shaft, if it is you loosen it up and do it over.
Rotate and rotate the track once the suspension is bolted in and all assembled, tightening the bolt little by little as you go to normalize the bearing on the shaft as it expands.
I just checked my new 2023 shaft on the bench and it take 25 ft lbs to keep it from spinning on the shaft by hand, but even at 30 lbs you can still tap the bearing on and off the shaft very easily, this is with the saver and bolt gooped up with anti-seize. IMO they should be at least 45-55 foot lbs. on a new and tight fitting shaft and bearing with anti-seize gooped up on the saver. Any less, and it's just not near enough IMO. I have a nice tight slip fit on my 23 too. Only a half of a thousands of clearance of slip, so nice and snug.

Agreed Mike. It definitely takes a fair amount of torque to set the saver. I have greased the fingers in the past and used 65 ft lbs of torque and have had no issues with spinning the inner race on the shaft.

0 miles bad charge tube. 2024 leftover. Not dealers fault for the tube but thought they would have seen it before delivery. The onus is on the factory to use quality parts, get the nuts, bolts clamps tight from the start. All the dealer does is put the skis on and set it up. I've ripped my 23 down to go thru it completely.
60 Miles on this hose, not sure what supplier their going thru now for the boost hoses but they are complete garbage. Got one cracked all to crap and the other has bulges and balloons happening. Seen other pictures with the same thing happening, should have taken pictures prior to me taking it off! It looked like it was blown just sitting there.

Found this Torx bolt loose on top spindle him joint on the stand today! I just happened to stumble upon it and could move it up and down 3/16" of an inch! I took it out with my fingers!!! It had what looked to be powder blue loctite on the threads but it obviously did nothing to hold it together. Can you imagine if that would have come off running WFO down the trail! And it would have had I not caught it! It was only being held in by a thread or two! WTF Cat assembly crew, get your #*$&@ together!
Checked the other side and it too was far from tight! No telling what else I might find, but none of the bolts, nuts and clamps are what I would call tight. Some loose, some only snug. You got to go thru every inch of the machine unless you want it coming apart. I found the tension would spin around and around on the roller bolts, and in typical Cat fashion the two bolts although loctited, bottom against each other and dont really tighten up totally, they still haven't fixed this issue after all this years! I tack welded them both, so they can go no where and the chain case will stay intact.

Had the same on my 2024 and noticed it when I picked the sled up last spring.. Yamaha replaced both front and wanted old ones back for inspection. Common problem with 2023/ /2024 so if you have these years you might want to take a good look at them..0 miles bad charge tube. 2024 leftover. I have a 24. One side is cracking near the intercooler. Not thru, but surface.
Dealer has none, been on backorder for a long time with none in sight.
I put aftermarket silicone tubes on. I guess just a $200 piece of mind.

I was fortunate my Brother-inlaw had just changed his out for Hurricanes charge tube and had his still. I will probably go and get the silicone ones as well. Just need to decide which ones. Anyone have good or bad experience with any of them? Any brand?I have a 24. One side is cracking near the intercooler. Not thru, but surface.
