Here is a Winder project with lots of damage. Ripped down pretty far. Rebuilding the front end on it and adding a shorter skid and track.

You build something with popsicle sticks and tape and this is the result…… can’t take much abuse. Nice to see you bringing her back to life Tom, good job.

I certainly don't like the way the tunnel attaches to heat exchanger and the rivet quality is poor, but aside from that the chassis is good and can take a good pounding. You build something with popsicle sticks and tape and this is the result…… can’t take much abuse. Nice to see you bringing her back to life Tom, good job.

Sheet metal and pop rivets.I'm interested in what your plans are to repair the tunnel top louvers.
Those louvers and the hole in Vipers are a very stupid design. I get it they are worried about the heat but so much strength is lost. Put heat barrier tape under tank and close that crap off. Use bolts in the front for strength.

My plan was to close it off. The rear half don’t do anything. They are underneath the gas tank. All it does is allow snow and ice to pack in and corrode the crap out of everything. Those louvers and the hole in Vipers are a very stupid design. I get it they are worried about the heat but so much strength is lost. Put heat barrier tape under tank and close that crap off. Use bolts in the front for strength.
