Skinz concept 36" -5" forward

I bet the heims are adjustable. They look different than the skinz or zbros kits. That be way cool if you could have both in one kit!!!!

Interestingly enough, if you look sharp at the top end bolting of the Fox shocks, they seem to be bolted in 90 degree angle compared to OEM bolting.

So there seems to be some kind of adapter or perhaps a modification of the front subframe... helps a lot while trying to handle the shock angle in these extreme geometry changes, I guess.

2015 nytro mtx being tested in Chris Browns sled????

Yamaha is notorious for doing this. They were running EPS in the RX1 in 2003. Had the RX1 motor in the SRX way back in teh day.

Very easy to hide especially since we all modify our machines so much.

His 36" a-arms were made by a un-named company out of Quebec that sent him a set to try. Chris said they are absolutely awesome. I Did not get a chance to ride it though. His sled with that front end on it had an oops the day before I rode with him. if anyone has seen the end of his slednecks 16 seggy you will know what I mean. - Cody

Yeah, there is something to be said for a 36" front end. When you have 12 inches of new snow, the stock Skinz 39 is way easy, but when you get "Cascades Concrete" or similar "heavy" spring or set up conditions, a narrower front is definitely easier to throw around.

Alatalo's, I did the same thing......for spring conditions, I narrowed up the Skinz by moving in the skis to narrowest. As you suggested, my trail performance suffered (agreed...who cares), but then I realized my carbides were worn out too, so next winter I'm starting the season @ 36 with new carbides just to see how it handles the trails too.

I am a bit surprised that Z Bros or Skinz don't give us a narrower 36 front end as an option. I don't think there is much to gain by going 5" forward (versus 3,4 or 4-1/2), but narrower is definitely easier side to side.

I plan to spend alot more time next winter @ 36" just because of the fun factor....and only 5 minutes to switch & compare!

My mtx runs the stock arms with the skis on the narrowest setting I believe it's around 36" I see no reason to ever go any wider.

X2.

Nothing to gain by going to +5" except a longer sled!

You're one province too far. The arms came from "Onterrible".

I guess the guy that rides for a living(Chris Brown) doesn't know what hes talking about???

Fishstick, I had the same proto kit as CB and if you want the full story PM or call me. CB is not on here praising this setup.

I went down to 35 inches on my lightweight Nytro and that seemed too far. Went to 36 inches on the boosted Nytro and that seemed just right. All testing done with 2 inch forward. First time I rode I can't tell you how many times I rolled it all the way over on its side LaLaLa Kept thinking I had to yank it over.....
