Something interesting on the sidewinder chassis vs my old XR Doo

Too bad they don't show a 1200 Doo

Good point. I don't think it would be as balanced as the 850 since DOO claims how they moved all kinds of weight around to balance & center their weight. The article really emphasized how similar they all are. It was mostly about how the driver can effect where the weight is put ultimately changing how the sled handles.
It states that the moving around on a sled to become "one" with it for about 1200 turns per 200 miles is the FUN part. They are RIGHT! Taking a machine & learning it's characteristics then adjusting to terrain & speed is what makes this sport soooooo intriguing to our brains. Same with a bike when i try to get a knee to touch the ground around a corner. People think we just press that little plastic piece on the right & go down the trail. Not me. I'm all over it like a pack of dogs on a dead carcass.
Hold on that was a bad description. How about a frat boy at a Toga party with girl who says yes. (concentual of course)(gotta be careful these days)
I would actually like to do same test with sleds from 10, 15, 20 & 30 years ago just for fun.

When i get my scales, i will probably weigh just about everything. My bike, sleds, dad's sleds & the dog. (just to see how balanced she is)

My head is spinning!
I rode over 100 mph on my bike this evening to compare my new helmet & forgot to write my findings.
I didn't even notice our quiet shepherd Don aka: VX1R joined the fray.
And i missed the Lost in Space trivia.

I need sleep....but i can't cuz there is a sled in my head! And an UNBALANCED sled at that.

As my once NRA president Charlton Heston once said "damn you all to hell".

It's an easy quote, but still worth a sticker...

This NRA President ( At least in my own home) Say's... Savage Arms is having a Xmas sale $ 100.00 off a Rifle . To keep my mind off of 57 degrees and no snow I went Xmas shopping . A couple of 243's for the daughters. :)

Wow lack of snow is really taking its toll on some of our members! Need frozen precipitation soon to prevent you guys from being committed! Holly Balls. Maybe we should start up an online SA meetings or something? Yes yes I do believe in higher power....it’s a TD race tune!

As my mentor Carl once said... If you want to catch a varmint you gotta think like a varmint.

In Steve’s case Substitute “varmint” for “Ski-Doo”

I know it’s too easy, early bird gets the sticker tho.

Sorry ClutchMaster but I couldn't resist...

And you are oh so correct. We need snow. Sooner than later. Enough already about more boost damnit!

Dam bro your on fire! Sticker winning MoFo!

I say enough with this weight distribution crapolla, if your worried bout it slap a 25lb lead weight on the other side and call it good. Or run a couple more inches of carbide on the light side. Just saying

Just a couple more inches... yea that’s what she said. :dead:

Just pretend the horse is a Ski-Doo owner and the tensions of daily life just fade away!
