Too bad they don't show a 1200 Doo
Good point. I don't think it would be as balanced as the 850 since DOO claims how they moved all kinds of weight around to balance & center their weight. The article really emphasized how similar they all are. It was mostly about how the driver can effect where the weight is put ultimately changing how the sled handles.
It states that the moving around on a sled to become "one" with it for about 1200 turns per 200 miles is the FUN part. They are RIGHT! Taking a machine & learning it's characteristics then adjusting to terrain & speed is what makes this sport soooooo intriguing to our brains. Same with a bike when i try to get a knee to touch the ground around a corner. People think we just press that little plastic piece on the right & go down the trail. Not me. I'm all over it like a pack of dogs on a dead carcass.
Hold on that was a bad description. How about a frat boy at a Toga party with girl who says yes. (concentual of course)(gotta be careful these days)
I would actually like to do same test with sleds from 10, 15, 20 & 30 years ago just for fun.
When i get my scales, i will probably weigh just about everything. My bike, sleds, dad's sleds & the dog. (just to see how balanced she is)
