Buddy made me a steel shaft for my front skid shock. Also made me a tool to press top gear bushing out.
Ended up purchasing bushings from McMaster-Carr part number 6381K563

Finally got bushings pressed in which I got from McMaster Carr. Had to cut 2mm off the length. Also had to sand inside a bit to slide over jackshaft after being pressed into gear.

Has anyone come up with a better turbo oil drain hose from turbo to stator housing? Last year the hose fell off and oil light came on shut her down.
I was able to repair on trail.Bought a new hose from Dave and a updated nipple barb but still don’t like the fitment. Just wonder if anyone else has had issues? Thanks.

Cant you make a metal line? Has to get awful hot for rubber.
I’m trying to source a different set up for sure but that’s how it comes from Hurricane.
The problem is the two barns are not in line and if you cut the rubber hose to short the hose will fall off.

I beleive mine is silicon and it's been fine ,even forgot to tighten the gear clamp one time and ran for a 500km weekend when I noticed a little oil in the side panel. Never came off just leaked Abit.

Mine also just cut too short and I don’t like that the clamp does not go up high enough because of the cap screws holding barb on.

Let me know what u come up with. I hate the design as well. Going to be installing a GTX2871 this weekend. My hose is junk already. Also be hooking it up to water as well to cool it.

I used a piece of braided hose, it can be tightened much tighter with the hose clamps and they don’t cut into the hose. I was looking for a 90 degree fitting that would work but it’s so close to the motor that you can’t fit one.
So I went with this “Getto” setup last year and it held up much better than the POS rubber hose.

I also used copper washers and locktight to seal the threaded barb fitting. The junk a$$ rubber o-ring was leaking from the start.
