Neighbor has a new viper and wants headlight lighting upgrade. I looked at some LED kits at Hay Days but they were priced kind high IMO. What does every one use on the viper?

I have an HID kit from Rock's toys that I love. Great color and super bright while being plug and play.
Same here along with 2 TrailTech hid better lit than the groomers!

X1000. Rocks HID's. I ran HID's on my viper and the LED's on my wife's. As soon as my wife saw how much better the HID's were I was buying another set. The LED's are getting better but still no comparison to HID's.

Steve, the link was http://sledtoyz.com/component/virtuemart/?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=6
Not sure where I got it but I had bookmarked it for the day I get another set for the lady friend's sled.
Can't say enough about a guy that responds to emails/texts within minutes and cares about a customer after the sale just as much as before so I'm glad I was just being dense and not googling right!

After reading this thread I purchased a set. I've never been into night riding because of crappy lighting. This LED kit changed my mind....they are amazing and I don't need to use high beams anymore. At $70 shipped to my door, I wouldn't spend the $200 plus for HID's. They plug in just like a bulb, no balist's to mount anywhere etc. The first pic in the thread is what sold me on them...and the price. All my buddies were shocked when I was following them at how much my lights lite up around them.

I'll agree that Rockmeister is certainly the guy to go through!
I ran the HIDs for many years and they do work great! For the best lighting, they are the only way to go - hands down. Now, with that being said, I'll say that I am switching out my HIDs this season for LEDs (which I did also purchase from Rockmeister). But the only reason I'm doing that is because I'm crammed for space. With a turbo installed, there is very little room under the hood to mount the ballasts needed for the HIDs. And I'm working on a new turbo intake idea that is under the dash pod. So that also leaves me with little room for the ballasts in that area. LEDs do not require a balast, thus freeing up some space for me. The LEDs won't be as good as the HIDs, but they will definitely be better than stock. And I 'think' they are priced a bit less than HIDs.

Older thread links don't work anymore. Any chance you can PM the link to amazon?
