Apparently the Lester's from Snow Trax are going to line the SRX up against the Mach Z they just received on Friday and publish the results early next week online.

To many variables to give either sled a fair run .... and the Lester boys are a lot closer to skidoo & Polaris than Yamaha..... is the Yamaha going to have the " once over " like you know the skidoo will have ?

Mach is VIN # 002 and has over 1000 miles on it. Don't know about the SRX.

Another interesting comparison to the stock Mach Z ( 17 psig) to the sidewinder would be boosted a 17 psig sidewinder . Then the skidoo guys would actually see the difference between a Yamaha motor and a skidoo motor .
When you think what skidoo did with the Mach z one year build , skidoo knows if they produce the Mach Z multiple years they will be topped within a year because there is so much more left in the 998 , that Yamaha can easily bump pressure with no warranty problems with motor . So this isn't really a race , but it gives the magazines something to talk about ...lol

Their whole show Snowtrax is still sponsored by Yamaha so take it easy on favoritism guys. They have no reason to sway one way or other. Only 4 brands in this sport, they don't want to piss off any one of them.

His walk around video of the Mach Z is nicely done although no new information was revealed. To bad he wasn't the first in the media to have received it. They're all about Lynx so maybe that why. lol

Bottom line is, it's a good thing!! Take a look at the auto industry with the Mustang, Challenger, Camaro stuff going on. Yamaha really hasn't had much of a reason to do anything with the SW in recent years , now they do.(might,,,maybe???) I guess we'll soon find out...
