Just got some info concerning the diff between last years Max Spool 16 (2 bar sensor) and this years Max Spool 16 (3 bar sensor). Cannot run a 3 bar on last years tune. Need to update the flash and add the 3 bar!
I was wondering why some were saying they were waiting for the upgrade flash for the 3 bar, which is new this season.
Do not need the upgrade all will run fine, but this tune is refined with the 3 bar.
So another upgrade for me along with the 3 bar.

Hopefully you never see that knock light Pete. I saw mine flash once, but I thought it activated because of the big bump in the trail that I hit at over 120. Never saw it again, even a long run WOT on long lake in St Agatha did not activate it. Buddy just got your same tune except his was sm. Clutching not dialed in yet but he saw 17.2 @ 9250. Wild tune on short runs around here. Not sure which one is the knock light, but I do know it is red.

Was he the guy with you dennis when you tried out your BOV last week or so,17.2 wow and that runs on 91 right? So our mufflers must be able to sustane that pressure siense they are 3" straight thru except nippled down the last 1" out the door lol.Hopefully you never see that knock light Pete. Yep that was him.
He has the Tune but with Stock Muffler, not the stock mod muffler. Clutching was way off so his rpms were way high. Not sure if that was reason for that end of spectrum number?
I saw a post by Ben a while back concerning this tune and boost. As I remember it was 16.7 - 17.2 ?
One of the reasons for the upgrade for me. I want to see accurate boost numbers. I heard that that last years tune without the 3 bar added fuel after higher boost numbers, say 15 for safety because of the lack of accuracy at higher boost levels. Your new 3 bar tune reads with more accuracy, thus cleaner tune!!
Cannot wait to hear from you after you get yours dialed in Pete. I hope it amazes you for a while.

I switched to the stock muffler tunes as I’m heading into la belle province for some trail riding. Max spool 16 pulls really hard and makes me wonder why I need any more power. With the 3 bar and ts bov I was seeing 17 psi of boost. Nice knowing I can run 87 on the 230 ecotrail tune as well. Only downside to the stock muffler bundle is that I can hear my clutch rattling now.

How about top speed DMC? Last year I put my stock muffler on for my Northern Ontario trip, with the corresponding powertrail SM tune. Before that, I had been running PT with SQ. I'm sure I lost close to 5 mph top speed.I switched to the stock muffler tunes as I’m heading into la belle province for some trail riding. Guess I'm just greedy.
Where I live there are really no issues with louder mufflers, but I realize that Northern Ontario and Quebec can be sensitive areas.

I haven't been in the top speed kinda mood lately. I actually really enjoyed the quietness and no drone of the stock muffler. We just got another foot of snow today... Max Spool 16 sounds like the ticket. I may just skip the multi map all together and go for Max16.

Do you need the dash flash for it to display boost PSI or does that come with a tune?

I do not have dash flash. Boost and tune HP show up where hour meter was on stock dash.
