Anywhere near you sell the little stands that hinge/pick up the back by the bumper? At least that way you could fiddle around with your clutches, run the sled, etc than be good to go by the time snow does arrive!
Yes a track stand, shop hoist, forklift, etc. Anything to get the rear in the air and run it no load. That or remove the secondary and take it to an expert for inspection.
Sounds like you need to sell the sled to me...haha! Jk.
I have not twisted enough, felt like overdrive all the time if I remember right. It's an easy mistake and hard to know all the time. I do wonder if the belt got tacky from some kind of cleaner (lay in oil, sprayed with something). Should be able to feel the belt IMO if that was it.
Too many questions, not enough answers. Good luck figuring it out, at least you have good help here.

Well I think I found out what I did, added another shim to the belt deflection bolts and they must have been too big and they were binding the back plate.I took them out and it seemed ok now.I did add barn of parts soft start spring, but with Ulmers clutch kit RPMs are about 900 to low and did not seem to pull as hard.So maybe I will play with that today.
900 RPM is a ton. Are you sure that you are winding the secondary spring properly?
The belt deflection bolts should have no impact on the shifting whatsoever. They just limit how far the sheaves can close. Adding washers simply allows the sheaves to close further "tightening" the belt at idle.

What is the engagement speed with BOP spring?

Yes sir about 3100
3100 is fine, if it is doggy on take off it is the clutch setup. Mine before I turbo it would spin a 162 track at 2900 rpm

Well I dont know then that is the only thing I changed. It is working fine now.I think they were closing too far thus the binding.900 RPM is a ton. Are you sure that you are winding the secondary spring properly?

You probably had something with the spring balled up and binding. The 900 RPM loss is going to be hard to recover.
Take a look at the buttons in your secondary. If you ran washers under Helix like some people here advised your buttons wil be cracked because Helix rides up to high on them. That could very well cause your issue like you found. Was bad advice to do that.
