- 08' Nytro RTX 40th Anniversary - Stretched
I was wondering what you guys think my highly modified 09' Phazer RTX is worth? I am toying with selling it and trying a different used Yamaha sled. I still love riding my Phazer but also enjoy modifying my sleds. I think I have gone as far I can with the Phazer shy of adding a turbo. I don't have the time to part it out and it will be a bunch of work to strip down with the custom tunnel extension and the Mountain Tech running boards. So here is a run down of what the sled has. The sled runs, rides, and handles great and always has. I think I might be sick if I add what all the mods and accessories listed below cost
Let me know what you think. Thanks, G.B.

I'd have to agree, right NOW 3000$ if your lucky. If you wait until the snow flies in the fall I'd think 3500$ would be achievable but that's a gamble also since the other used sleds your looking at will also jump in price. Best case, buy a sled now and sell the Phazer in the Fall. I'm kinda in the same boat, very tempting deals on 15'/16' Vipers but the wifey wants me to sell my Phazer first.

Your thinking is on that parting it out would bring in more dollars. The red Viper looks real good.

Thanks guys. I kind of already knew the answer to my question but was looking for that gut check. I was always one that would take all the accessories off and sell them separately as you don't get anything for them with the unit. I was looking to see if conservatively $3,500 worth of accessories and mods would be worth something. Its looking like "No" is my answer. If I want to sell the sled and turn it back stock I would have to buy a 121" track and donate the $320 Mountain Tech running boards to sell it. The other option is to completely part it out. Guess I will ride it another season. Thanks, G.B.

Accessories are the money pit & downfall when trying to get rid of anything, sometimes it pans out though- most times not.
We still don't learn & have to make it our own
When I wiped out & totaled the '07 it had some things on it people wanted/ part it & I contemplated removing but in the end it wasn't worth it, be stuck with the piddly crap nobody will even take.
I had all my accessories listed/ priced with the insurance company so they took them into account, had a decent check & bought it back pretty cheap. Ruggy Buggy came into the equation shortly after the incident and we struck a deal on him buying the whole carcass.
Hate to say but the day & few weeks of pain after was probably the best thing for me and the growing misery of riding it.
I looked around and moved up to an '09 Nytro (from a member here), 347 miles w/ "goodies" + everything he had for it, cost me just over $1100.
Love it, I'm still adding stuff + now the Wife has one also so the mods keep going...
Good luck man!
