WOULD YOU BUY A NEW PHAZER??

I personally dont think 80 HP is going to get it done ..but I do like the looks of the back half... (but not the front) and you could guarantee is going to be a cold ride!

Anyone notice they dont have a pic of the gauges.. (i guess there nothing special)

Tough question seeing this is posted in the apex/attak forum. My response was a HP related response which really isnt fair to the sled. Its not the intention of the sled at all. I would think you would see more positive responses from the Rage/Vector/Nytro guys...BBY

there is a pic of the gauges in the phazer fx photo page 3. i was going to buy a nytro but the phazer has my attention. what i need to seal the deal on a phazer is a real rider report. when will ty be able to test the 07's. stepping down from a rx-1 to 120 hp isn't too bad but 80 hp i don't know. i want a ditch bangger and the phazer fx looks like it would be the ultimate if it has plenty of torque and i can get 80 to 90 mph out of it.

I voted yes that I would buy, but I would not give up the Apex to get one. Yamaha needed an entry sled and I think they will do well with the Phazer. The first words out of my 9 year old was "cool can we get one!"

Actually it would be nice if the administrator would add the Phazer to the RS forums since that would be a better place to discuss the sled, IMO.

The first words out of my wifes mouth was "can we get one"? Why yes I think that we can, but..................I think that I might want to beat the snot out of it also, I think that it looks like a blast and am only hoping for a demo soon to feel what the power feels like. You can argue HP #'s all day, I couldn't give a sh*t about numbers if it feels goooooooood, RIGHT?

Get the Venture Lite, that way when papa gets a little to tippsy he can ride on the back, oh, and when the Poo's and Doo's break down they can ride on the back of the little 80hp sled and like it, or walk.

Set your phasers on stun. Phaser = PHASed Energy Rectification. Its not a real word however you spell it. Yamaha choose the "Z" spelling to avoid having a fight with Paramount over it (since Paramount came up with it in 1965). So if you spell it with an "S", you're talking about a ray-gun. If you spell it with a "Z", its a sled.

I would buy one for the wife but I would be wanting to ride her all the time and yes the sled too! LOL As long as it has most of it right like not too cold and grease zerts and such. The mountain light is just begging to be turbo charged what a fun sled that could be.

I would wait a year or two to see how they run first. The 500 is going to be pretty high strung to wring 80 ponies out of her. I will let others go through the teething pains and pick one up then. I do like the concept though. Let's see what happens when they put the 450 jugs on it!!

What's ridiculous is the people who are bitching about this model. It's an entry level sled! if you don't want an entry level sled then don't buy one! People are saying it should have 120 hp. Duh then buy the Nytro.

This is an entry level sled guys, its perfect for the nitch it's put in.
