Yeah.. out of the hole the Nytro is faster.. but the Xp pulls hard on the midrange and goes by it... nothing a turbo can't fix..

I think bottom line is this.. Yamaha wants to protect its bottom line and not replace every sub-frame on the 2008 Nytros. It sounds as if they will only help the customer that screams the loudest. I see Mr.Sleds point... he created this site for shits and giggles.. and not for people to vent...

all it takes is a bad wash out that yanks your skis one way or the other and bam you got a bent sub-frame on the 08 sled.

I had good luck with a set of C&A Razors on my 08.. better floatation, better handling.

I did some research on the Drag as I'm sled less now. I read in alot of places the Dragon is really hard on fuel. I heard between 12-14mpg hard. I pm'd a few owners on HCS and not many of them are really that impressed. THe Nytro out of the hole is hard to beat. Top end is another stroy. Get a...

The Nytro can really fly throug the trail junk once setup right. I've ran some real bumpty trails and no one could keep up and the guy who tried to stat with with crashed his sled in the process... good thing it was only a Cat... Hey John, how come I never got a hat?? :drink:

I ran some water last winter and yes a good entrance speed is the way to go but too fast you will create a splash and get your belt wet.

Well alot of the so called "TALK" on here is done by people who owned or still own 08 Nytro's. In my case I really liked alot of things about the sled. The seating position is awesome.. The large runnings boards are excellent.. The chassis is light and nimble. Awesome motor with tons of tourque...

Just take a 10mm long handled wrench and twist the helix and push in at the same time.

i understand he floats on the 09's have been re-calibarated in case you didn't know that.

My local dealer couldn't get 0-30 last winter.. He said they've been putting the 5-30 in all the sleds without any problems.

I understand the 09's have beefier upper A-arms.

I wouldn't touch an 08 with a 10ft pole. I'll buy the supercharger kit though if you want to sell it..

do we know if the balljoints are updated? I'm looking around now at sleds after I sold my 08 and there really isn't anything I want to buy. There wa alot of good things about the sled all in all. Do we know if the wet left boot problem is fixed? I would really like to see a 09 and 08 front clip...

The ball joints were blown right out on both sides and the right side was tweaked to the point that the shock was almost touching the A-arm. Looks like right side bending on the right side is most common. Anyone know if the 09's will have all the updates done?
