Aren't those small Boostane bottles plastic? We have always been led to believe that if the Octane Booster comes in a plastic bottle it will not help Octane much.

There's a lot of products that store better in metal containers. Fuel, Seafoam, boost additives, etc.

Are you guys using boostane premium, or professional?

They are the same, and same container. Professional is the mix ratio for a little more octane

lol, well that’s dumb. You would think the people using this stuff can figure out mix ratios

I don’t think it’s the same. I was just messing around on their calculator and to transform 10 gallons of 91 octane to 94 octane it takes 1.7 oz of professional and 2.4 of premium to do the same.

Idk?! I was using 91octane and .25oz per gallon. I like to round up. Similar to your 2.4oz. as I remember it's supposed to improve it three numbers or bring it up to 94 octane.
It definitely shuts the deto off.
Was going to back it down to .2oz per gallon this year.
Why are you making things so difficult? You remind me..... Of me. Hahaha

They are not the same , the premium is street oriented with roughly a 100 octane capability. It is less potent and requires more oz per gallon to raise octane to a comparable level as professional formula. Professional has a capability of 116 octane and is more race focused.

Oh wow.... I'll have to go look and see how much .25 oz effects 91 octane. Probably not as much as I thought.

I use professional
At 1 oz per gal
I think it’s around 90 cents per gal more cost than pump gas but way more fun

Would it be safe to assume that is a US gallon

I to stumble on ratio. I have to review what I was doing last year.

I made a spreadsheet for this (to convert back and forth to liters and ounces and ml per liter) if you are interested. But if you just want to be safe, (want to get to 93 octane for safety) then .5 ounces per 4 liters is a bit over 93 and per 5 liters is a bit under 93. .5 ounces per 4.5 liters is about the right spot but I would just use 5 to make the trailside calculation easy.

Choose File->Save As from the menus to keep a copy. I left it on the boostane page but that will probably change in the future

Yes I would be interested

Is there any down side to over doing other than wasting product
