2006 Annual Marathon NY Ride

If anyone else has reservations cancel them. Next Wed. and Thursday forecast is for low 40's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is anyone interested in going up to Old Forge? I'm looking at their webcams and trail reports and looks like the best conditions in NY right now. Even next week they are at least staying below freezing.

From what I can tell reading the various reports the south side of tug hill seems to be best. Unless you want to pay for a town of Webb trail pass there aren't a whole lot of other trails to ride in Old Forge. I'm still hoping to get in the Marathon ride sometime in Feb.

Well it's not much fun seein the sled sit on the trailer and at least not trying to find some place to ride. I don't mind buying the pass if it means decent trails with snow to ride on!

I would get the Old Forge/Town of Webb pass IF it meant snow to ride on and decent riding conditions. As far as a February ride, I only have the last weekend available (Feb 25-26). If those dates work out for others, great. If not..........whaddaya gonna do. Hopefully this weather pattern turns around REAL QUICK so we dont have to worry about cancelling rides and rescheduling. Snowmobilers are at the mercy on Ma Nature and that's just the way it is. PRAY FOR SNOW!!

I can do Feb. 24-26th. We'll keep an eye on the weather as it gets closer. If it looks good a week or so before, guys can start making their reservations.

We will have this ride Feb. 24th-26th. The 25th will be a poker run, hosted by Seven Valley Snow Goers! Great times for everyone, come and ride. Host hotel is Three Bear Inn, make reservations now before the skiers grab them all.

I'll be in for the ride that Saturday and Sunday (2/25-26). Cant wait to ride your neck of the woods again Dave. Got to get me one of them "Homer Burgers" that Sunday. Poker Run was definately a good time last year. Same club same meeting spot for the lunch buffet?

I'll be booking a room at 3 Bear Inn for Saturday night. Anybody looking to share a room, let me know.

Same club but different ending spot for the poker run. Still having food and a band! Aren't any railroad tracks that way either for me to watch out for

Snowing here now. Tug hill expected to get up to two feet by Tuesday night. We'll be riding someplace for sure next weekend :D

Well, as of today we have no snow. Not much in forecast and no base anyways. If we do get dumped on this week I hope to make the poker run on Saturday at least. Maybe next year will be better.
