2012 AK sled build

I haven't made any progress, this winter has been terrible which pretty well killed my motivation. I'll still finish the body work but I've been busy rebuilding an 18' trailer I got from a buddy to haul the new summer toy.

... .ok, I've just upgraded myself to super stalker lv. 5.

Come on, you must have at least ridden the damn thing?? Got some more video footage?

Winter over here has also been a major fluke. So I have daily crawled TY for some thrilling content, just to end up empty handed.
This just wasn't the case last year :)

Come on now !
It feels like im alone posting here, i want to read something too :jump:

whats your goal with this sled before starting the new build ?

Cmoon, do something! We dont have good snow conditions, boring... We need motivation too, and we get it from here!

Maybe this helps a little with your motivation? ;)

Actually it stalled because my fuel controller is not working well.. Need motivation to fix it..

(edit: fixed link)

I haven't ridden it once this winter. Our spring riding will be virtually non existent, the glaciers haven't received the required amount of snow for safe riding.

Have you looked into the belt drive system for Nytro that is 16lbs lighter? That's without reverse that is. I'm sure you have, but just wondering if that is in the cards for you. I guess it is not in production yet, but should be available someday soon.

Something I saw the other day that surprised me is this PowerModz video featuring the Nextech mono skid. They claim a weight of 34 lbs. I knew the CF rails wer light, but I didn't know the skid was that light. Spendy though.

Thanks. I'm rearranging/modifying my shop to be setup pretty much for just building another sled so I should have a productive summer.

My current ride won't see it, but the summer build will definitely be getting my own pieced together belt drive.

I can't wait to see your belt drive set up. I have to say your one hell of a fabricator & do an amazing job. Then to post it for everyone is top notch!
