What is the reason the OEM bushings do not last very long, is because
of inferior material or lack of lubrication?
Has anyone ever tried putting Zerk fittings in and what are the results?

are these already made bushings or something you plan on designing yourslef?
If so make the tollerances tighter so there isnt so much slop..

These will be machined to our specs after checking several Apex/Attak models and RS Vector/Rage models. At this time these will only be available for RS series & Apex series sleds. I haven't had a chance to look at what is different on the RX series sleds and I will try to look tomorrow. I will update with pricing as soon as I have more information.

Just waiting back on a quote. Realized we had forgotten one bushing and just sent in the complete set for a quote. The kit will include the following 24 bushings per kit. As soon as I have a set price I will post it.

-4 upper a-arm bushings

Allan, I posted in another thread about the fact that the A arm bolts are shouldered and can be turned by hand when the weight is off the front end. I didn't get much response there so wondered if you had any comment on adding a washer under the head of the bolt to take up the slack. This combined with your new bushings would eliminate all the free play. I just don't know if it would induce problems down the road with the bulkhead.
Thanks

Rosco, I'm not sure which bolts you're referring to exactly? Are you referring to the inner bolts (that go through the bulk head)?

Yes I was referring to the inner bolts that go thru from the front of the bulkhead and thru the A arms and out the back of the bulkhead and secured with a lock nut.
I am also interested in two of your bushing kits. Any idea on when they would be ready to ship and cost
? I have one machine apart right now and will have to put it back together soon to take it in for import inspection so it would be nice if I could get these bushings done before I put it back together.
Thanks.

Those prices do not include shipping. All shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail in the USA (usually $10) or USPS Air Mail in Canada (guessing around $20).
This will work on the following models:
-2003 The first year for the RX-1 used steel upper a-arms in which the bushings will not fit. You could still buy the kit and replace the lower a-arm, lower spindle, lower bulkhead, and upper bulkhead bushings, but the upper a-arm and upper spindle bushings would have to remain stock.
-2004 RX-1, RX-1 ER, Warrior, RX-1 Mountain
-2005 RX-1, RX-1 ER, Warrior, RX-1 Mountain, RS Vector, RS Vector ER, Rage, RS Venture, Vector Mountain
-2006 Apex, Attak, RS Vector, RS Vector GT, RS Vector ER, Rage, Nytro, RS Venture, Vector Mountain
-2007 Apex, Attak, RS Vector, RS Vector GT, RS Vector ER, Rage, Nytro, RS Venture, Vector Mountain
