Asphalt Results 2005

Terry,
I see you've got you new toy running now and wanted to let you know of this email that I got from Kristin Cartwright at National Speed Association.

Sounds like they are trying to get a PS800 Class at NSA...

Attn: Pro Stock 800?s
National Speed Association would like to offer all Pro Stock 800 asphalt sleds an invitation to compete at the NSA event at Maryland Int?l Raceway on August 20th. If you are interested in competing heads up at the NSA MIR race, the weight including driver and gear will be 625lbs. The membership fee has been reduced to $100 if you pay in advance of the event and the entry fee for the race is $50.

We are hoping to add PS800 to the series in 2006 and would like to try the weight/cc combo before this season ends. Please check out the full NSA asphalt rules http://www.nationalspeedassociation.com/rules.html

Tyler asked me last night if I would be able to make that one, I told him it was too soon of a notice, and told him I had plans already. The Milan Michigan is that weekend also, and I won't be going to that one either.

Good news is I will be making mounts and installing components for the nitrous.

Terry,Corey great job guys  Nice to see ya heading in the right direction ;)! Corey need to replace a shaft and some wheels should be set for this weekend .

I'd love to come see you guys race. Unfortanly I'm going to a work event in Northern Michigan with my wife. The only good part is I get to play golf at on of the nicest courses in Michigan "Tree Tops" for free.

You guys have fun I'll see you at Heydays!!!

Hey Steve, I think Brainerd is in October. Just got the Amsnow magazine, and it is in there with Don's (hlmrx1) picture on the top.
Really, Terry!!!! Cool!!! Don't have mine yet, I'll have to check and see if they're on the shelf here, they're usually about a week behind getting them on the shelf up here.
October 22nd is the AMsnow Shootout, rain date on the 23rd, they call me a few weeks back to let me know. Well, guess I got my work cut out for me this year if Terry comes out , with reaction times like he's got lately  , he's going to be hard to beat!!!! I haven’t been out very much this year to practice yet. :o|
Well it’s off to the Top Fuelers this weekend in Brainerd, time to watch instead of racing, should be cool!

Hey buddy! They have your picture at the top of the page, right side view this time. I have my hopes set for that one.

Tyler - The nitrous is 80% complete, just waiting for some NOS parts. I mounted the bottle on the tunnel, where the gas tank was gutted out. I beefed up the shield for the belt, and mounted the solonoids on there, and put the fuel pump right next to the stock one. I took the little battery out, and mounted a 4 1/2 inch x 2 7/8 battery on the tunnel to the right of the fuel pumps under the reservoir bottle for water. Looks peeerrrtttyy!

I changed the bottom sprocket 1 tooth smaller, and took 3 more turns out to soften the front torque arm. Got white reflective material to cover the front air scoops, but will put that on a little later. I will be trying the C12 mixed with what I have left, so we will see how it works.

Don't worry, start small, and think straight, (or did I see that in a porn movie one time.......), anyway, I will be extremely carefull, ..........always am.

Well, it's Saturday morning, with Thunderstorms all this moring, but supposed to clear up and have a low of 58 tonight!

I took some pics of the SRX with the bottle and solonoids installed. Still waiting for some parts.
