Ryan - I worked on your sled a little last night, and got the track adjusted, and the chain case together. I will take the thermostat out and hook up the quick disconnects this week. Can you get the skis by Thursday?
Everyone - I tested Friday night, and had 2 time runs on Saturday before they called the race due to rain. There might be a great concern from the racers at Wisconsin International Raceway, as there was a street car that put oil all the way down lane 2, and the racers didn't think the track officials cleaned it up enough. When the rain started, a 66-67 Nova with a blown big block, (show quailty remind you), went sideways in lane 2 and hit the guardrail. Coincidence? All I know is alot of people said they should have called the race before this set of cars went down the track.
I will post results from this weekend tonight, as I tried the bottle with 60 horse on Friday night. Right Tyler?

Hey Terry, you yank the thermostat out? I never did last year, does it make any difference? The thermostat is really there to warm the engine up faster at first, once open I don't know if it restricts the flow any more than you quick disconnects. The thermostat should remain open as long as your above the rated temperature, unless it fails, so the only advantage I see in removing it is that it's one less part to fail. Oh yes, less weight too, lol.
So what's this, your moonlighting now by setting up other's sleds for asphalt, lol?

Don - I took the thermostat out, cause once the cool water hit the thermostat, it would close, and I couldn't circulate the water. The four stroke oil stays hot, and I need to run the cool down longer than the 2 strokes. I am helping Ryan, cause he let me use his SRX suspension for the last 2 years asphalt racing. I at least owe him the help and shop to work on.
O.k., Friday was real weird. Was sunny for a bit, 74 degrees, and then the hail came down. 2 tornados touched down in Fondulac, and big storms everywhere. After 5 pm, the sun came out, and the humidity dropped.

Hey junkie - I'm shooting for 9's big time this year!
Remember, this 05 has reverse, stock airbox, stock jetting, trail exhaust, toolbox, and spare belt still on board. Wanted to see if I could do it in trail form. And get it in the 9's with clutching and nitrous.

Hey Jeff - Nice going!
? for you, Did they resurface the track? I kind of heard from someone they did, and they needed to get some rubber put down, to make it hook better. I was going to come down last Wednesday, but had plans.
