Sounds like there might be some snow on the way this week. Let's keep our fingers crossed. My Dad just picked up a '14 AC XF 7000 so I guess I will get a chance to try out the Viper's sister sled soon. Need to get new sliders on the Nytro again... LOL I ordered the DuPont ones this time. 1,375 miles last season, but I'm hoping for a better snow year and more miles this year.

Jammer,
Ask Scott about the Hyperfax , BTW he is working out of his Pops garage , his roof failed at his old shop when we got the storm.
Tuesday night will be below zero , looks like the storm will hit ND , it will be to cold to snow in my book , we will see.
Togwotee is shaping up and looking good..

Re: hyperfax
I agree about it being too cold to snow very much, but I see the estimates have raised a little bit. At least we are starting this winter with more moisture in the air. Last fall it was so dry. I already ordered the DuPonts so I guess I will give them a try. Thanks for letting me know Scott is working out of a different shop. I'm thinking I'll need to get the Nytro in for an oil change and slider swap soon and his prices for service are always very fair.

I was gone for the weekend and was actually surprised we got as much as we did. Looks like a decent chance the next couple of days and then warming up a little bit. I haven't been up near Trailshead yet, but from the highway cams at Harney Camp it looks like they might be able to groom some trails on the 15th. That will be the first time in quite a few years.

Re: u
I was hoping this year would be different, but it looks like Christmas will be a no go once again unless something in the forecast changes. If we get a little snow this week I think my Dad and I might head up to Trailshead next Saturday for a little test of the sleds. I guess we will see what comes later in the week. Doesn't sound like much right now, but forecasts are rarely right this far out.
Trying to stay hopeful, but it seems like October dumped everything out and it has been pretty dry after that.

Dad and I went out on Saturday and did about 110 miles. Trails on the north side were pretty decent, but won't take a lot of traffic before they fall apart. We didn't venture off trail much since it's still a bit short to keep you above the stumps and rocks. One good storm of a foot or two and we would be doing really well. I don't think any are in the forecast, but hopefully one will come our way soon.
EDIT: We did receive about 4+" of nice heavy snow this morning (Dec. 24) and it is still snowing. It's coming along, but a nice big dump is still needed to really get things going.

That date is usually do-able without any issue provided we don't get an early spring.
