brad4639, Custom built tunnel. Nytro home build

You need too start making parts for snowmobiles and start too sell them:) Great looking sled.

It happeded

Well, the snow was setup perfect and I ended up flipping over backwards riding a wheelie.
I found the weak spot...

I wasn't going to let such a "minor" hiccup ruin a good day of riding so I did what anyone would do. Went to the bar, had a few drinks, found a Sawzall and cut off what I spent a few months buiding!

There wasn't damage to anything structural so instead of redoing the entire tunnel, I decided just to design an extension for it. Added some ribs down the center to make it stiffer.

Cut square and ready for the extension.
At this point I also clocked the turbo because I'm now adding a rear mount intercooler.

Intercooler mock up

It was a busy week for me.
Heres the new parts cut out. the triangles in the extension are to let air pass through the intercooler and I think it adds a nice touch that you don't really see.

Polished and bent.

Powdercoated and back in place with the new intercooler mounted.

I'm heading to Cooke City tomorrow night. Hopefully it comes back in one piece.

again, very nice work. it takes alot of R&D time to get things right, very rarely are things perfect the first time. keep up the good work!

Completely impressed with your work!
