I'm trying to get my driveshaft out to replace the bearing and check the shaft but it seems like my bearing is seized on the shaft. I've opened up the chaincase, removed the circlip and the 3 bolts in tunnel to try and get my rotor/caliper off but for whatever reason she won't come off.
Any suggestions? I dont believe I'm forgetting anything.

Hmm. That seems odd. Did u take the caliper off first? That’s wat I did. The rotor was a bitch but got it with a couple pry bars at 180 from each other. It was a bit of work but it came. If your at that point, with caliper off, and she’s fighting you well that’s not good imo. Shaft is likely smoked. Do yourself a favor. Under the rotor there is a little depression in the housing. If there are metal filings in that pan like I had.......head for the dealer. That only happens when the rotor wobbles on the shaft.

Sounds like you hit on the head - the bearing is seized to shaft. Seized is akin to "welded." Depending on how severe it seized, you could be facing anything from having to cut it apart and getting all new stuff to, if you're really lucky, just heating up the bearing inner race to see if will expand enough to let go of the shaft. If you're lucky and this works, of course you'll need a new bearing but also check out the shaft closely to see how much heat went into it from bearing. Sounds like a mess. Probably will need at least a 12-pack of LaBatts.

Do you mean splitting the caliper? I was trying to avoid that if possible.Hmm. That seems odd. Did u take the caliper off first? That’s wat I did. If you split the caliper you will be able to pull the outer circlip on the OD of the bearing, you might be able to get the shaft out that way?

Other than that nothing I can think of

I split mine then removed the rotor then I was able to squirt penatrant into the bearing and it loosened up after wiggling it
