crashed my 2017 LTX-LE sidewinder today

:hide:I think it has something to do with honesty. I do not bleed blue. I was ski doo. I think many here are from other brands, and enjoy what Yamaha strove to do with 4 strokes, quality and engineering. They aren't perfect, but are really great sleds and the enjoyment for me is overtaking Ricky racer on the latest Doo with my tankex rtx....happens more often than not, too! Really makes them mad when that pesky Abrahms is still on their bumper, or alongside. But all in good fun! I think many of us feel we are, by choice, in the minority, so we stick together! Kinda like Yamaha Sleds Matter!

Glad you are still here with us. A friend died on the table a few years back as his heart stopped from blocked arteries and 50 unknown heart attacks (thought it was heartburn), and came back as they managed to get a Stent in and get some blood flow, but he was gone for a while., He did NOT want to come back after what he saw and the purest love felt from God...yes he is a believer, but now, how can I keep up with him? He knows the other side so nothing to fear!! yikes! Keep smiling, this too will pass for you.
Yes sump buster,he tells us believers,to not get caught up in all the day to day stress, but to give it to him,as there is nothing we can do about it,but he surley can,if he desires to,some of this is just what we bring onto ourselves, and some not lol but not to worrie,as he will take care of all things,ya that is still a hard one to swallow sometimes, but its not my place to say yea or nea,its his,and it is not my time,or was not at that event, but I hope I face it like your friend did, with a great big smile on my face.. Amen brother.

Yes I agree,i don't bleed any special color either, but I do feel a sense of family over here, more than any other forum to date, and I joined this one back when I had my first one ton,or so they called them back than lol 03 rx1 but it was fast if nothing else, but it did handle very good to,but it was closer to the ground back than, not so much travel, but it still ran the groomed trails very very well.

Would that be MOMS,motorcycles of Manchester? That is where my sons sled just came from, and we are heading up north to our little house in patten, and sense he is such a good boy, well 48 is a boy,oh well he,s mine, and he is going to let dad ride his while we do its madden voyage, now I am going to be taken special attension to his throttle and its workings lol,i am still a little unsettled by all this, and just don't know if I will be my usual self, once I am saddled up,and throttle in hand!! Can you try and find out some more info about this sled for me,feel free to pm me. thanks bro.

Yes that is where I bought mine. I believe they are flying in someone from Yamaha to look at it.

Me too, snobeast, been here almost from the beginning, with 2 rx1''s. Rolled one and bused the sump cover in the other hitting a buries log and blew the engine. Almost went back to doo! My friend I talked about rode the black rx1 at the new York totally Yamaha ride from Montague, with Big Black Warrior leading the way. Some said we were abducted by aliens, as it seems we lost the rest of the group...I never laughed so hard as heading back to the trucks in the dark, blinding snow at stupid speeds! He isn't even 50 yet, and I'm heading for 62...lol...this stuff keeps us young.

So is this how you came up with your avatar name, from your rx1,s sump busted lol that would be funny, seems we are to old farts still loving our sport,my first sled I bought, was a leftover 1969 Rupp gt 300 snowsport, with a super single 16 hp sachs motor, with the big tillitson HD carb, snowsuitsucking carb lol,as it would suck the material you were wearing into it,and choke itself almost out ha ha,fun times in the 70,s so you must be a 55 baby to?

Yes, March!
1971 Skiroule s300, 19 hp sachs. Big mod was putting a ram tube on that blew gas back onto my onesie suit....those were the days! I think there are still parts out in the fields from that sled that fell off. But the bug sure bit hard! My first ride ever as a kid was on a wankel cat.
But on the rx1 there are some casting tabs that are very close to the cover underneath and the log lightly dented the aluminum but caught the tab and broke it off, losing all the oil. I didn't know and kept riding until it locked up in a cloud of smoke. No lights no nothing. and a mtn. cat towed me in! Worst day ever!lol

You old fart, lol you got me by 4 months, just like my best friend in school. But we thought these old scooters were fast,at least back than they felt fast lol,ya my first ride was a 66 skidaddler,my buddys dad had bought it new,and we lived in the city,so could not go to far,but as little kids go,we could get like 4 of us on it,and ride around there big above ground pool for hours and hours, till we were down to grass lol it was so much fun,up till than the only snow vehicle we had was our trusty speester sled,it was fast on icy hills, but hard to stop ha ha,weather you were laying down or sitting upright, them old sleds were still a blast,i miss my childhood,we had a ball outside all day and half way thru the night, building stuff.

Yeah, we're both old farts now...where did it go? Kids today don't know what they are missing. They stay inside playing on their phones all day, well, like me right now!lol...but I already cut my firewood today so I'm done. So is my shoulder. Funny how none of those aches keeps us off sleds! As long as the right thumb works!
And I swear that s300 skiroule could do 130 uphill....HAHAHA...sure felt like it! Spent some time upside down too, but that was normal! Jumping hedgerow drifts until the crescents were all tracks!

Sump buster, It's been years since I rode with you. Come up and ride Tug Hill with me sometime. At 63 years young, I may have slowed down a little, but not a lot. I remember that night we lost half of the crew on that ride. I was Surprized everyone found their way back.

I doubt you slowed down much, as that is your normal speed! That was a fun ride, and the apex's are better than the rx1's!
I was telling snobeast about Randy, who was on the black rx. He had the heart attacks a few years ago, but never slowed either. He is on an anniversary Vector now. We will certainly have to get together. I still have the 2004 shirt too! Only wear it on special occasions. It seemed like yesterday...time really flies!

I still haven't seen the shocks Snowbeast what going on? Riding 4 days next week so get going. My riding takes priority over shock work you know! Merry Christmas dude!
