Early dyno reports (850R)

That happened last year
Old news
Oh, I can attach current posts from yesterday. Seemingly it's still an issue and pumps are still on backorder. If I'm wrong you need to enter this group and explain things to your buddies

This is from yesterday. It went up over 50 replies I had to go to bed.

Lol
I know I know
Hey the clutches and chain case work though

I personally love reading about these 850 turbos. I don’t think I would ever own one, but competition drives innovation. I am also hoping Doo drops the new 240hp Maverick engine in a sled.

I’m not a Polaris fan, but let’s not pretend that the Sidewinder is flawless. You are throwing stones in a glass house my friend.
Well....you can look at it that way, if you chose. Or maybe I was trying to explain my paying close attention to what's happening with the boost & comp850. Wouldn't you consider seeing what's going on with marketplace competition, especially if you are getting ready to buy one. I mean you wouldn't really want to know if something was a problem? Ok, that's cool.

I follow all these sleds closely. I love snowmobiles and I have always been fascinated with new models and engines in Green, Red, Yellow, and Blue.

I don’t feel it is necessary to bus chuck the competition to make me feel better about the sled I own. You are watching those sleds closely because you are worried about getting beat by one, not because you want to buy one.

Wow, your ability to cut through the smoke is uncanny. You should be careful before I go over to the 900ace group? Yeah, there's nothing going on over there.
You really need to reread my supportive comments that I've made here in regards to this 850comp, or Dyno posts proving it's worthiness, that I supplied. What would be the point in supplying positive Dyno results, the slam it to the ground, calling it junk. Again I think you could possibly be putting words in my mouth.
I claim to be somewhat knowledgeable to trail leader and had to prove it. And in doing so it hurt your feelings.
If you can't find the good in all the statements I've made and are only able to pick out the one, you don't like, you really should consider Dootalk to further your education.
Cancel culture is real, prove me wrong. Or say, yeah, I must have missed those four or five good comments you made, my bad.

A 220-240 hp trail rideable two stroke will be a very fun sled . We are lucky to have these sleds available to us. I’m sure there will be some issues but not like us 998 guys don’t know about issues of our own. Hope to get a chance to try the new Doo

Me: trailleader I'm very aware of other products. Case in point: oil pump leaks
Trailleader: that was last year
Me: no it's very current I have proof
Trailleader: haha, you're right.
And somehow this got twisted into I'm a "Brand basher"
Quite confusing, if you ask me....

I think the biggest downfall with the doo 850 turbo is going to be the meth usage when running hard. Guy had posted about riding in tug hill when they had first recieved snow and he was out of meth by 50 miles. Dealer looked it over and all was good. Contacted brp and they said that was 100% normal when running hard. If this turns out to be the norm or even if its double or triple the consumption that others see its still gonna take the wind out of the sails quick. Going to have to have really good thumb control on a 150-200 mile ride. Im sure in a few weeks there will be super meth on ebay to combat this though.

Bud....we all got problems. I often wonder to myself, "if it had not been for cats involvement" lol. Sorry
Procross is or has been one of the best handling sleds to date.
Competition has caught up though and hopefully the catalyst holds up to the hype.
Need all the manufacturers we can get to keep the competition up.

turbo is smaller than poo
2 smokes with stutter are also a concern
Guy shows off at bar or on lake, look at me and this sounds cool! lol
reeds are easy to blow this way on a two stroke
Stud clearance is an issue on doo but poo isn’t much better
Doo has no room to work under the hood and poo is a bit better there
Cat has a lot of tunnel clearance and a lot of under hood room and I’d say a more build able hp liking motor than the other two

858 turbo comes out I’ll have one
The most impressive thing to me is the fact they have a 2 stroke turbo that lives as a consumer sled
Never thought we’d see this

That would be a deal breaker for sure. I’m sure the aftermarket will offer a larger ICE tank.

I know two guys that bought 850 comp turbos this year. We will see what they think of them. They are not out of break in mode yet.

That would really suck if they used that much meth. One would think it would be it would be running terrible consuming that much in 50 miles.
