fast m-20 not moving/binding

got a question,if you push the rear down say 1/2 to 3/4 of travel and let it go ,does it pop up fast or come up slowly, mine pops right up,almost like the shock does very little,my M20 came with the silver shock.

same here on the rebound. I should have some input from my ride this weekend. Lets hope it is what I expect. ;)!

just got back from a VERY wet weekend of riding in Northern Maine. The M-20 still rides super stiff and doesn't seem to be moving when riding over any size bumps. I watch the Fast video and it looks like it should be an incredible ride. This thing rides like a BRICK and POGO STICK all in one. I am wondering if I need to take to someone with more experience than me. Plan to make some calls this week to keep trying. :o|

Fast is very capable of selling hype just like somebody else does (Yamaha, thinking Rough Trail suspension here!).

I would be in touch with Fast asking for an explanation, prepared to supply good install pics regarding your install so they can't use that for an excuse. You might bring up shock valving, like a comparison of what was used in the suspension making that video vs. what you received?

just got back from demo ride. saturday night running trail 41 to shinglton in to munising brigde crossing dad 2to3 moguls hitting them 80 mph with out bottoming. air psi was set at 40 in the front 62 in the rear. rear air psi can very by rider wieght. limiter strap is in the second hole with no bolt in the adjuster.

Spoke with Brian at Fast and we discussed what was going on in detail and what the possible problem is. He has always taken my calls and more than willing listen ad give suggestions and advise. He really seems to want this thing to work for me.
During the install I moved the lower airbag mounting bracket back 1" to the rear holes and slid the rear swing arm back to allow the rear airbag to be straight. Brian told me it was designed to sit in the front hole and the rear hole was for the m-10 which shares the same rails. The geometry is off if not in the correct mounting point. I will return the bracket to it's original location and hope that solves the mystery.
I will keep the post updated. ;)!

I will definitley let you know if moving the bracket works.

My rails came with 2 holes and it seemed the airbag looked crooked. I bought it used and it came with the bracket mounted in the front holes. But being the dumb anal bastard that I am I figured it was wrong.....doh!

Live and learn...just had a rough riding season. I will keep the post updated.. and upload some pics from my office

is this the hole you meant?
