Is this some here?

I bought 6 of them from McMaster Carr for same price including shipping and tax. The ones Clutchmaster told us about.

Is this the one?
McMaster carr #6381k563 leaded bronze?

No it’s not.
The one listed on ebay looks black to me.

I think this seller is pretty active on FB. If it's the guy I think, he seems to be fairly knowledgeable

I know who it is. He lives about 1/2 hour from me. Yes, he is well-known on Facebook and around this area.
I don't know the exact details on that bushing he is selling other than that it is still a teflon-coated bushing and that he is seeing 15%-20% longer life. I don't see that being a benefit. Get the cheap ones then. I have one rider in our group who is testing an alloy bushing and my brother-in-law probably will be soon as well.

I bought some from local automotive supplier and I would think any automotive store would be able to source them. Six bucks CA, and they bring them to my shop no charge.
I'm not convinced as of yet that any bushing will solve this long term, as there is just too much load for the bushing to handle even with looser chain.
A re-engineering is needed here, a shaft that is another .5 inch in diameter larger would go a long ways.

I am being told by a local machine shop that the material used for the ones in my pic above will not wear out. They are very hard... but not as hard as the surface of the shaft.

Its good there are alot of options out there now. One or maybe none of them hopefully will solve the issue. I am cheap but want to contribute to the experimenting. Trying a bushing made of this material. McMaster Carr it was under $3.
