Took one last ride on apex with crankcase vent off slightly hoping it was plugged and causing my leak.

Nope not my problem

That’s oil and coolant now. I think it’s definitely the seal inside the waterpump. Don’t know how I missed that last engine pull. Dang.

I did get a few WOT pulls on the lake! Holy crap I love a SC apex!! Can’t wait to add a turbo and another 130 hp!!!!

Yup. I think it’s the seal on the shaft inside of the pump. I never took it apart because I couldn’t see it on the fiche. Im sure that’s it now that it’s mixing oil and coolant.

Thanks steiner, I did what any reasonable person would do....bought a new built engine to replace the waterpump LOL This one will be all forged pistons, rods, and 9.5:1 CR ready for BIG boost from a SC and TC. Now I just have to pack it all in there and get it running to test out some things before summer!

So had a mishap... I dropped my new engine! Grrrrrr. It slammed in some gravel with a thud. Busted the oil pan legs and bent my water pump!! So new pan coming, and steiner sending me his old pump! I’m going to rebuild it with new seals. I’ll detail that later. It’s not very intuitive. Wish you could buy a complete new pump with new seals but you can’t. Keep on keepn on!!
