I'm interested in the Rox riser too, where did you order it from?

It rarely gets that cold here so I think NLVMAX will be fine.

Yeh, I was thinking the same thing. I can let the mount extend out a bit so it's not to close to the mountaing bar. Wouldn't want the gps to take a smack and go flying. LOL. Thanks for the comments. Hope the wheels hold up, my only concern is the rubber on them.

Cables are fine with the 2" Risers. I think they are at the limit now. Any higher you will need cable extensions.
I got mine from Adventure Designs.
The website is http://www.advdesigns.net/
Royal Distributing only sells the Black Rox Risers. My buddy ordered a set there.

On the GPS Mount.
I had mine in the same place last year. Riding in blowing snow I dropped off about a 6 foot drift too slowly (didn't see it) and the front dug in and predicitably I lost my grip and slammed into the GPS.
The GPS and cradle and arm were fine. I broke off the ball mount however.
Just something to keep in mind.

Hey goddo, sled looks awesome. Your're right, it do look natural. White looks good. Nice job.
Yup, will have to watch out for it. Will probably take a couple smacks this season. The arm appears strong but I can see how the ball mount broke on impact.
Thanks for the heads up.

I mounted my GPS on the other side of the riser made a little bracket that comes off the four bolts on the bottom of the riser then came up from there just for that reason now if I happen to come forward and hit it somehow I will only push the unit forward towards the dash instead of jambing it in between the bars and myself and risk breaking it, it would never make it all the way to the dash either so I don't have to worry about that either

here are the pics of the bracket I made for my GPS

Goddo, looks sick. I think you should do something with the spindles and the bumper, either white or black.

Nice post. Like the bracket you have. I was thinking of mounting in back as well but I have my gauges behind there and I wouldn't see them very good.

I am currently waiting to finish the install on my trailtank. I ran into the problems listed below. Currently waiting to receive my new thicker o-ring. Then, I will finish it. I was going to file down the lip or rolled edge as I called it but I figured it would be better to wait.
Hoping to get it this week.
I just want to say that Seth is a top notch guy and he is there to help his customers.

ATTN: CUSTOMERS AND DEALERS
We need to let you know about some recently discovered issues on our Nytro TrailTanks.
For those of you who have purchased our tanks for the MTX NYTRO model, they have a heat exchanger with coolant lines that are conflicting with our tank. We had designed this tank around an RTX and were unaware of this difference until last week. Some of you may have made it work anyway as have some of our dealers. Please contact us for help with any issues regarding this change.
For all 09 Nytro models, there are three issues with the fuel gauge sending unit.
1. The hole spacing in the mountiung plate is slightly tighter and is keeping some guys from getting all the bolts started without enlarge two of the holes.
2. The lip on the mounting plate is about 1/32" deeper which has kept the oring from sealing on some of our tanks. We will send you a thicker oring if you contact us with your address.
3. The float road assembly is positioned lower on the 09 assemblies compared to the 08 assembly we used for our design. This may cause your gauge to read 2 bars and NOT CAUSE THE LOW FUEL LIGHT to come on. This can be fixed by giving your rod a slight bend upward until it reads 1 bar and the light comes on. You can do this by draining your tank below the fuel pump opening, removing the fuel pump, and reaching through that hole to access the float rod.
PLEASE CONTACT US WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS WITH THESE ISSUES. WE ARE RECASTING PART OF OUR MOLD TO RECTIFY ALL THESE ISSUES. THE NEW TANKS WILL BE READY FOR SHIPPING THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER.
WE SINCERELY APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AS IT IS OUR GOAL TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A QUALITY PRODUCT ABSENT OF THE SORT OF ISSUES WE ARE NOW EXPERIENCING.
THANK YOU.

Here is my OIL PRESSURE GAUGE INSTALL
Here is my gauge. This is a full sweep and should be able to give me an accurate reading of psi. For the Nytro it is 7.3 psi @ 1400 rpm. This is basically at idle so it will increase with rpm's.
Now I had to find where the sensor(Oil pressure switch) was and it is located to the left, beside the oil filter. I took off the protector and there it is.
Disconnect coupler and unscrew the sensor. A small bit of oil will come out.
This is what I am using to install. I have a copper Tee and a heavy duty hydraulic 1\8" NPT close nipple.
Screw in nipple and use pipe thread sealant(keep first couple threads clean). I used Pro-Dope. Don't over tighten.
Screw on Tee and install the sensors using sealant of course. It is a really tight spot. This is the only way I could make it fit.
Now I installed my gauge holder and running the wires. I hooked up the ground to bolt on frame and I'm getting power this time from the 12 volt Dc Plug. I used Polyethylene split loom to case wires, gives a little protection from the elements and helps clean up the wiring.
I think that is about it.
Another thing I like about the gauge holders is the adjustability.
