Agree....new 2s engine over 850cc from Cat. Not sure any of the tweaks will cross over to our Winder chassie, but would welcome at least some fixes to simple things like coolant hose, chain tensioner, PTO side drive axle bearing, and proper oil tank seal would go a long way to true reliability.

Dream on,they will do nothing to improve all of this shitty design. And Yamaha have no influense to Cat,and i dont think they care anymore, like they have been doing that since 2009.Agree....new 2s engine over 850cc from Cat. There's no information on the engine of the riot... you would think if Arctic Cat with a new sled with there motor in it , they would pump the engine package today .... the chances of it being a Yamaha motor just went up 10 fold .....

Then why no information on motor size ... that means cat still only has a 800 and won't sell sleds . With the " inventory reduction " plan at Yamaha that means they have something coming out that the dealers won't sell old stock when they introduced the new sleds . We will see in a couple weeks

The riot is available in 600 and 800 cc. It is similar to a Polaris Assault.
The website is slow, but it looks like they have thinned the herd. The RR is only available in 800cc. The R-XC in 600. Thundercat is unchanged.

Well, this is either really good or really bad.
The only cat for 2020 with a Yamaha motor is the Thundercat. Not sure if this means Yamaha is done, or just building their own sleds again?

There will be more than just an inventory reduction if cat doesn't step it up a notch or 3.

I'm not sure what to think here. Either Yamaha is making their own sleds again, or the 2020 Yamaha's are going to be one or two models.
