Update 12-5-13
Went out for a first ride last night. Sled felt very stiff and wanted to buck me off or flip on med to big bumps.
I decided to start adjusting the suspension and started with the front. Hooked up the pump on the right side and it was at 90lbs bumped it down to 70. Hooked up the other side and it was at 75lbs!
set that at 70lbs and took it out quick, and what a night and day difference!
Check your floats PSI before you ride since mine was not the same PSI on each side. 70lbs seemed good but i'll play around some more. I'm 175lbs.

My mechanic stated that Yamaha recommends 80psi, I have not played with mine yet, but so far the 80 seems good to me.
I'm gonna play around some more with the psi but I assumed the shocks would both be set at the same psi but they where not, causing the weird handling.

70psi? I have mine @60 and I still think it's a little to stiff, I'd go even lower but I want the ski pressure because this front end feels light compared to nytros and pushes a little more than I'm comfortable with. I rode it on old rail road bed that has some good whoops and the sled never bottomed rear or front. The rear everything is on soft (front shock to, to help with ski pressure without adding more psi to the front) and I'm around 210 lbs. with gear.

I hope you guys are setting the air pressure hanging and not sitting on the ground. Just saying...

I believe "Yamaha" specs are 70 psi for the LTX and 90 for the RTX, for what it's worth.

Yes you right and is a good base to start fromsk-rx1 said:I believe "Yamaha" specs are 70 psi for the LTX and 90 for the RTX, for what it's worth.

Okay you guys were right. Some of the screws are just plain JUNK. Mainly the ones with shoulder that go on the dashpod. I have ruined 3 now even with a screwdriver Torx. The threads get shredded by the clip. I found some older AC ones that are a dull color and not as pretty but they do not strip even in the clips that stripped the Junk stock ones. I will get a part# today.

I have started to replace all my cat torques with bolts from nytro skid plates, you can get hardware kits and they are much better! I am able to use the cat nylock nut and Yamaha bolt!

That's what I plan on doing! I'll post up a complete parts number and pics from fastenal later in the week when I piece it together

Awesome! Thanks guys. I looked and cant seem to find where that bolt is from. It is a self tapper but same shoulder as stock. Being a self tapper it is MUCH harder and wont gall up like stock ones when they go through the clips. Trip to Fastenal sounds good or McMaster Carr better since they ship fast.
