Taking the Winder out 1st time after pronouncing it fixed!—Strong NO!

Duck tape the flipper wide open and point at forest . Take old helmet . Scratch up the sides . Old jacket, tear it up . Hello insurance. If you torch it and they investigate they might find all the motor problems. I’m sure Yamaha has a record . I wish you the best of luck . If someone sets up the go fund me page I’m IN !!

I’m not so sure, I just ran one here on the stand and the oil looks all foamy after being run. I think it depends on the brand of motor oil how foamy it looks. Quaker State 5-30 ultimate durability doesn’t seem to foam like that though. there is no way this can continue to happen with three new engines.

I'll be passing through Clear Lake on Monday. Want me to pick it up and haul it to the scrap yard? :)

On a serious note, you 100% sure it's coolant in the oil?

It seems like if it were coolant in the oil the site tube would be reading higher.

Has the same guy done all the engine work?

If you have all documentation, which I’m sure you do, I would be looking into the Lemon Law! This totally blows!

Has the coolant pump ever been changed or have they just transferred the original to the replacement engines?

I am in the same boat! Head gasket went out after 1 mile of installing tune. dealer said cylinders are scuffed on center and mag and mag piston has s piece missing.

It's disturbing to see the amount of PEFI engines going down lately. My one buddy has their bundle of tunes and runs a Alpha CAI along with a Sandale 3" Hyperflow. Now that I think about it, it must run up there around 21-21 lbs of boost as it hits the boost cut when its cold out. He can't run on Stage 3 without running a boat load of booster in it either or the dash lights up. Most of the time he runs it on Stage 2, but I know the Det protections will flash the dash. I wonder how lean its really running? He has no AF gauge or anything so he'll never know. I hope it keeps running for him.
