Put 500 fast miles on with this tune. I pushed the sled hard. No knock light. 91 octane with Amsoil octane boost. Best mpg yet. Pulls like crazy. Ran necklace an neck with Cat 9000 with same set up and 3 inch exhaust. Ben and Mike are great to work with. Great customer service. Only bad part was I got the lecture at a road check in Quebec for super quiet muffler...even with stock cladding. May have to go to max16 stock muffler. Threatened to tow sled with 1k fine. Nuts..
 

Not familiar with that muffler, little loud or they measured outlet, what gave it away not stock?
 
I had the "riot act" read to me last Friday in Ontario with the SQ muffler. Just had the max16 installed last night for the stock muffler. Planning to be in Quebec later this month and don't want any issues.

I hear Quebec does measure the outlet and the sound is what flags them. SQ isn't really loud, but to the authorities it's enough.
 
What stinks is the triples really aren’t any louder with the sq exhaust they just sound different. The twins with pipes are what really are loud! Three in a row let it go!!! These big boys need to breath!!!!!!

How’s it work without octane boost, interested
 
The O2 sensor port gave it away. What looked like a routine trail pass and insurance check was not. They specifically targeted sidewinder and cat 9000t as he outright said so. The noise was not a trigger. My SQ is quiet when Just rolling to stop. In fact meets the decimal level stated in their last regs. A buddy of mine is a retired state trooper. Once the PP calmed down and saw we were experienced riders with all are docs in order we got the dissertation. We had a cat with the 3"! I was leading the pack so I got targeted. Im sure I'll be getting a welcome to QC mail gram. A buddy of mine is a retired trooper and spoke to the officers. All good but once things were done and as we went to leave my trooper friend got on his 2016 Viper with the factory MPI kit with cai coming out of the hood, and the officer was like "you have to be kidding right" so he showed it was factory approved etc. Bottom line they are getting educated on 998 after market and have a bulls eye on it, so get creative or go sm. I may just look at as a cost of doing business because I love this set up as it is now. Just sucks that the idiots ripping through the trails late at night with mega loud pipes create in part this situation. A side if me thinks it's a busting balls money grab too.

Yes. My sq is just as load as my friends factory 900t at low speeds.

Up in our Adirondacks area(Old Forge, Moose River Plains , Tug Hill etc) they are starting to check mufflers also.
 
I have only run 93 straight and never saw knock light come on. I love this machine! Think I’m going to go up to the max 20 though. Something about that 300 club! I want in!!!!
 
A little update, got the max16 installed and the stock muffler. Now my clutch is louder than the exhaust! Hope I don't get busted for a loud clutch. Lol
