Trying to decide on an Apex.

Don't take the 2007. Apex do not burn oil like the RX1. Something is wrong on his.

Stick with minimum 2009 or even better 2010. Lots of small but needed upgrades through the years. 2010 has Monoshock II suspension with replaceable idler wheel bearings and better placement of them. Suspension doesn't sag as much either.

As for trailer, as mentioned LTX fits in a 10' with a bump... But the day you buy a 2up because your wife now prefers to relax as a passenger so she can drink a glass of wine at stops. Or you kid buys a long track cause that what is cool it won't fit anymore. I would stick with a 12'.

Attak rides like a couch!! No reason for 121" over the 136" in this case.

Handling is the issue with the Attak. Takes a lot of tweaking to get them right. Depends on your riding style and desire to dial them in.

Yea I passed on it, however going after the other 2007 Attack GT with 4400 miles and recent exhaust repair for 3800

Yes, he wont negotiate but fair price. Said has new stainless exhaust and doughnuts. Will need taller windshield

That looks like a nice machine for $3800.

I cant believe how many apex/attaks are for sale right now. You are def. in the drivers seat!

The strange thing is the sled is not in his name, jumping title. Has 2018 sticker so he has been using that. Has paperwork from previous owner. Since my sled and trailer was ripped off I am nervous about JohnQpublic. If VIN matches registration and bill of sale should be good to go.

I never understood guys that don't get registration transferred.....should be he first thing you do when you buy. I have been watching that sled since it was posted a month ago. I like it a lot. Has everything you want in a sled and looks like a very nice sled. I say go for it! Should last a loooooooooong loooooooooong time! Let us know how it goes. Oh.....my 136" stretched Apex handles awesome.

So I went and looked at the Attack GT and was let down. He told me on phone "It is the cleanest Attack around" Well maybe I am too picky but, there was salt damage on bare aluminum and rivet heads on the tunnel and the rear skid frame, the running boards paint worn off, the hood plastics and windshield had wear marks from a loose cover blowing on a open trailer, and the sled had almost 1k more miles then advertised. He would not budge on price, I may have given him 3500 but was not hauled in enclosed trailer as stated ( by previous owner) and he bought it in the fall and never put in his name. So I passed on it and went and looked at the 2009 Apex with 2k miles and that sled looked brand new! So.....I now own a Apex. It has a new battery, studded track and dual carbides and a nice deluxe cover for 5k

That's a nice sled. I may have snapped it up when he first listed it but I prefer the long track. Your gonna love this Apex!

Yea I am sure it will feel very different then my RX 1. I rode that Attack last night and when it hooked it lifted the skis way up, not sure if because of the long track or the way he had the suspension set up. Did not test Apex yet, where I picked up sled very minimal amount of snow.
