SJ, someone suggested to me to cut the quite lugs down? What are you thinking about that?

So you are running 1.450s on your Sidewinder? Any clearance issues you can see? I need to order studs and leaning towards a mix of megabites and gold diggers in 1.450 down the middle but want to use all of the middle so may go back to 1.325s to be safe.Running 1.325's in a 1.250 track, you won't wear them out that's for sure. I like the mega bites my buddy runs triggers they look a little lighter time will tell on how they hold up. We both use 1.450's.

Just make sure when studding over the quiet lugs you get them extra tight. I ran 3 seasons on my xf9000 and never had an issue with the studs coming loose or pulling out. I ran some real bad conditions last yr and studs did great.

Anybody have any feedback on SnowStuds Big Shot studs? Thinking 192 W84's.

W85. Very durable setup... Not an ice stud... But a solid trail stud if you go through some tough conditions.. Stay out of the middle unless you add protectors
