Which weight do you prefer, HH or 60Y, or 60YS? And why?

Yeah my 60YS are darn near identical to stock weights.
The 60Y are more curvature for sure.
Daltons fall in between. Liking the Daltons alot, but heard great things about 60Y.

They are close but you need to line them up at the heal then you will see it will show the tip on the HH is lower. Look at the first pic. HH always take less weight than STM with the same secondary setup. 1/32” does make a difference.

Dam they are closer than I thought tho. I know they take less weight because we swapped them over in an turbo Apex. Took 5~6 grams more with STM’s.

So that 60y is set up for more heel weight via a set screw like a Dalton, now that's cool, when on stm,s website it does not show that feature or speak about it,and calls it there X version 60y.

No ....the HH has the heel screw like dalton sorta but heel only.So that 60y is set up for more heel weight via a set screw like a Dalton, now that's cool, when on stm,s website it does not show that feature or speak about it,and calls it there X version 60y.
the 60y is same as most all the STM supertips with 3 loading areas on each side.....and has more curvature in the Y then Ulmers YS.
Y similar to HH
YS similar to stock Winder weight.
Dalton in between and IMO best top speed weight.

Dalton blk/orange spring with 41/37 helix and 8dn belt.
How much of the difference is the 8dn belt? You like the 8dn then?

Care to theorize why you are seeing more top end with the Dalton weights Dan? Do you find any difference in low speed belt grip between the two?No ....the HH has the heel screw like dalton sorta but heel only.

I tested the 60ys and Dalton dtya1s on back to back days, similar conditions, similar results as far as top end goes.Care to theorize why you are seeing more top end with the Dalton weights Dan? Do you find any difference in low speed belt grip between the two?
Daltons are way more tuner friendly.

Thanks Dan,that weight sure looked like a STM,i did not know the HH weights were set up like stm,s where they had 3 loading areas on each side, like STM does, the only HH I have seen were bottom loaded only. That is a cool looking ramp.No ....the HH has the heel screw like dalton sorta but heel only.

Thanks staggs65 in one view where you see that heel set screw,at closer view I can now see that the Dalton profile is a tad higher, and after you said that,i can see it is a regular Dalton behind it,one thing that sure sucks getting old,is your sight lol thanks brother. You’re looking at the stm in front of the hh.
