Aftermarket clutch weight testing from this weekend

get 2 .with that it will cruse much better .might need to crank up the driven 1 with that but i'm in .

Monday I will be running somewhere on a lake. I know most guys work. But if anyone is interested in my area PM me
I'm about 30 minutes from Mt Morris, but Monday is suppose to be -14 so I'm sure I'll be busy at my shop. I was out on buttes des mort yesterday running. A lot of slush spots and 10" coming tomorrow.

Post your results here bud. That setup I gave you should be a winner... otherwise you might have to add some weight because you are LTX model. Hoping that helix comes today.[/QUOTE]

You got it. I will be very interested in that helix, based on the weights I'm using. OR shall I say the same weights you tried and what your thoughts were on them. I have the two springs to try also.

30-120 spring would work with the ts weights

Actually Monday afternoon is not suppose to be to bad? Might be a bit much for snow will see. Trails might open my way also. I have a small shallow lake in wautoma that will be perfect for running. They have been walking on it for five days. Should have plenty of ice by Monday. And this snow coming is going to be light fluffy

Is it possible to clutch the sidewinder for better take off without losing top end? Seems any clutch kit that I ever got on previous sleds would only give more bottom and mid range. Sometimes would even decrease top. I want the best of both worlds. Forgive my ignorance, but is this possible?

Thunder products kit doesn't loose top end. We gained in most testing.

Surely is. Right weights helix springs ! Takes time and testing. I will say that you can not have it both ways as far as snow conditions are concerned. It may run great on hard pack but be a little low on rpm in the soft stuff. My two cents

follow directions here ,you''ll be good to go .

Is there some guidelines on how to load the thunder arms that come with them to get me close. I should have the kit next week. I have a stage 3 Evo tune in and muffler. I have OSP weights in now and there also maxed out loaded. Have 22 tooth gear on its way.

with the kit ,lonn will set them up for a stk . sw .for you add the extra 1/4" allen under the 3/4" allen ,i'd go 1.5 gms more in the middle ,and 1.5gms more on the tip to start .seeing you have more hp than stk.
